With its 6th win, Wisconsin is bowl eligible for the 20th consecutive year, trailing only Georgia at 25 and Oklahoma at 23, I think it is. Also 5 straight wins puts them in the top 10 current streak list.

Well, you already posted UGA's bowl streak(which is as meaningless of an accomplishment as they come, I love bowl season and hate people that want fewer bowls, but making a bowl isn't anything worth bragging about).

13 game win streak. 1945=1947 saw a 17 game win streak. Had 15 game win streaks in 1941-1942 and 1979-1981. Best I can tell this is currently the 4th longest win streak in program history.

I can agree with you for the most part about the bowl streak but it does represent consecutive seasons at .500 or above without being banned. As a long suffering Badger fan of the late 60s thru the early 90s, this is a milestone to take note of.

See, that 2010 dumpster fire of a Georgia team made a bowl after a 6-6 regular season, and lost their bowl game to UCF to finish 6-7. That still counts towards the streak.

I remember back when bowls were kind of a big thing.

But I've been around almost 65 years.

Now instead of it being an honor to get invited it's a disgrace if you don't, as in you really SUCK.

Back In the day it was Rose Bowl or bust in the Big 10. Imagine how many 1 or 2 loss teams sat home.
