This season been weird as fuck.

So today, after some ranked struggles dominated the landscape, mommyship’s recap of the weekend is “winning is hard this season”.

I am no Notre Dame fan by any means. But man they could win out, and a few teams above them could lose one or even two. Notre Dame has wins over Purdue and Wisconsin and North Carolina who just beat Wake Forest (not saying these are the be all, end all). I know this isn't the CFP rankings, but man. Any chance they sitting in the cat-bird seat?

They struggled with FSU, Toledo and Virgina Tech and lost to a G5.

Good luck. I think they need a LOT of help.

the only 1-loss team they would be ahead of is Wake. Weak schedule, and no CCG.
 
Oh nah, I see all of those points, but some of those ahead of them could lose a second game. Cincy has struggled for 3 weeks now against all G5 teams. Also, I don't see the CFP folks looking too closely at struggling wins.

Cincy probably needs to lose 2 games for ND to pass them.

Also, committee spokesman explicitly said they were looking at how close some of Cincy's wins were.

They seem to have a good team, they just don’t show up unless it is a top 10 team they are playing
 
They are a on again off again team. We will see what how this next weekend goes

Lucky for you, your schedule is back-end loaded, because for games played your SOS is second worst among top 10 teams, ahead of Cincinnati.
