Shocking I know but UW is once again looking for a head coach.
I don't think they will go back to the recycled head coaches they want to find a young up and comer.

Who do you think could be the next best HC?

You got me all excited so I jumped on Twitter, and the first thing I saw was Lake’s 11 o’clock press conference is on as scheduled. You tease.

Find the best offenses/defenses in the nation and find out if they have total control of that part of the ball.
Then pick from them.

If they don't completely run one side of the ball, I wouldn't even give them a look.

It's only a matter of time, they got nobody on staff that can intern if they tossed him out the door today,
Might as well finish the season and then toss his ass.
It ain't like he's got a recruiting pipeline going to UW

I really thought he would thrive down at UNLV. Granted its still early but the guy can recruit

Yeah it's been a rough start for him. The guy is a solid recruiter but not a great play caller.

Seems a little rough going for Kwiatkowski down there at Texas. See if he’ll come back and try out for the job in an interim roll.

And sort of related, wondering if he saw this shit coming. It all makes sense now.

We need someone who can recruit right now. Get some competent guys, for once, to call plays, and try to salvage recruiting first.

I wouldn't make it an intern job for coach K, I would hire him as the next HC.
My concern about going after Pete is they need to move on from the CP coaching tree.
I would want to make sure he is solid on returning to the PNW and willing to actually build this program up.

Plus the Admin might need to loosen their grip on the academic standards ( bring back basket weaving classes)

not that I want that for UW but

Kalen DeBoer at Fresno.

I was at least partially joking about it, since you mentioned they don’t have anyone to be in an interim role, it would have been him, and he’s have potential to keep the job.

But he’s obviously not coming back for that, and I agree with moving on from the Petersen era. Look at what happened to USC when they kept trying to recreate the Carroll era, it never works.

So here’s what we do, we recreate it anyway. We still have Petersen working with the university, get him to make some calls, get Kellen Moore. Petersen can mentor him with recruiting (you see the NIL program he’s putting together?). Now we’ll have an offensive coach, Kwiatkowski will decide this is where he wants to be, and the rest will be history.

From the SEC:

Kendal Briles
Jeff Lebby

Poor guy, thinks Lake was the one fired yesterday but it was just their OC.

Further for the poor guy he thinks Washington would actually go out there and take the time to hire a competent head coach, they just got done hiring Lake and were really excited about it.

With that said, if they wanted to make a good hire they'd go all in on Moorhead and see if he'd take a head coaching job again

Kellen More is going to hold out for an NFL job.

He is one of those unknown coaches.
The thing that makes me a little nervous, from 2010 until 2019 he bounced around as an OC.
How does a guy that won 3 titles from 2005- 2009 not get a head coaching job until 2020?
