Haven't smoke weed in 20 years because of my job.

Wife gives me a "CBD" gummy she got from her friend.

Started getting relaxed with a bit of dry mouth and told her to check with her friend about the gummy. She said "just like I said, CBD / DELTA8 THC."

Hope I don't pop a piss test the next couple of weeks. :happy:

A urine test can't tell the difference between Delta 8 and Delta 9.

LOL....They know the "I had a cookie, brownie, gummy bear, at a party and wondered why I felt funny" excuses.

The threshold on the chromatograph machines is set at 15% for THC metabolites. They know that anyone breaking that 15% threshold is a 'regular user', not someone who ate a couple cookies at a party.

THC is stored in your fat cells. Eating a cookie, brownie, gummy, or even smoking a big fatty once in a blue moon is not gonna be enough to build up in your fat cells enough to break that 15% threshold after a day or two. A good piss the next morning would likely drop you below the 15%. In a few days of pissing 3 times a day you'll be far below it.

The "30 days to get your body clean" is more a scare tactic than anything else. It would be for regular users who stop. i.e. It would take a regular user 30 days (max) to no longer be showing any metabolites. Of course the fatter someone is the longer it would take to get clean. A skinny mf'er who uses regularly and stops is clean in a couple weeks max.
If you used regularly, are going to get piss tested, and are worried..... Never give them your first piss of the day. Any metabolites would be most concentrated then.
Drink enough water to where your back teeth are floating and you can't take another sip. Fill the cup mid-stream. i.e. Don't give them the first or last piss coming out. Mid-stream would be least concentrated.
In that situation you'll be diluting the sample, but it would still register body temperature and there would be no foreign chemicals (chlorine, fluoride, found in tap water, etc) in it to alert the tester.

To sum it up the machine kicks out a 14% as a 'negative'. A 'negative = zero.
There is no value unless higher than 15%.

Ended up being a fun night. Watched Aerial America for a few hours, lol.
 
Just drink lots of water, you'll be good in a few days.

I'm retired but union called begging me to go to work anyway. I told the BA "I'd like to but I just smoked yesterday, don't want to fail a drug test". Then the company called me also begging me. I told the guy I might need a couple of weeks. He told me he needed me there Monday.

Went to Walgreens and bought 3 home tests. Son told me to drink a bunch of water. so I did. Took 2 of the tests the next day and both were negative so I called everyone back and took the job.

Then showed up Monday at the testing center all nervous. did all the computer testing, lung capacity test, heart rate and stuff. Got in the piss line and the guy looks at my slip of paper and says You're done, they haven't scheduled you for a drug test. Not sure how they slid that through, EVERYONE gets drug tested.

Great job in the shop, lasted 2 years.
 
They tell us they still drug test here, but it’s been like a year and a half since we’ve had one. Too scared to start smoking pot again due to how long it stays in your system, but I have started using cocaine occasionally again(like maybe twice a month on a Friday or Saturday night). I don’t play cards like I used to, but when I do, I take an Aderrall so I can stay up all night

Doing a little a couple times a month is probably better than the 1.5 cans of snuff I was going through every day. Quitting that was the hardest thing I ever did. I still crave it over a year later.

They do, but they rarely (if ever) do anything about it. There is a thing called 'Stage Fright' where people can't just piss on command. There are also issues of the random tester showing up just after someone has taken a piss.
In both those instances the tester just has to sit there while you drink enough water to make you piss.

The machine can tell if you diluted your sample with tap water because any chlorines or fluorides would not have been metabolized.
The human tester immediately puts the lid on the cup and seals it with a label when you hand it to him. He only checks the sample for proper body temperature.
Once in the lab, on a diluted sample, the machine would look for foreign substances that haven't been metabolized by your kidneys. They know if the sample came entirely from your kidney or not.

I retired a couple years ago and owned a company that sub-contracted for a major defense corporation for 20 years. Part of the contracts were that I had to randomly urine test my employees. I would schedule random tests for 10 employees twice a year. That was the minimum requirement per the contract.
I'd watch people drink a gallon of water prior to taking their piss. We joking called it 'Stage Fright'. Even the human conducting the tests called it that.
Not once was someone required to re-test on a diluted sample.

Hair samples (rarely used) would catch a regular user, but not someone who ate some cookies at a party.
Again, there is a threshold for THC metabolites set on hair samples too.
