Eliminate one place

Prove me wrong.

And you give all your property to society and let them provide for you.

I pay for all those things I consume voluntarily. Except for the added tax surcharges, that is.
Everything you own, everything you use was aided in some way by those taxes. Whether it was via roads or power grids or other infrastructure, unless you completely disconnect from society, you are a beneficiary of those taxes.

Total bull. It was hampered by those taxes. It could have been done cheaper and more efficiently by the private sector.

Not my cilantro. Only eat fresh that I grow myself.
You’re welcome to buy other cilantro that is shipped from various locations on roads you partially pay for.

Or don’t.

You’re paying either way.

You think the private sector would have spent dime one to build roads out to where you live? You are deluded, my friend.

Pick any 3, and add shitpotle, and I wouldn't care

The roads were already there before state and federal funding. I live on the intersection of 2 township roads. I take township roads to the local village. I don't ask for one penny from you. Those roads were all originally roads that farmers built on property lines to get their crop to market. I am not against voluntary paying for roads. If you want better roads for you to drive on, you can pay for it.

Peace out, Burger King! (haven't eaten there in a decade and that was a disaster)

barf. People still eat at those places? Gross

I could too, easily. The only one from the group I like is Chik-Fil-A but I even try to avoid them because I don't like a lot of what they pretend to stand for. I don't need them preaching to me, plus that shit is absurdly expensive for what you get. Oh, and all those Stepford Wives white kids working there with all their "my pleasure!" bullshit. yuck
Man, I don’t get why people rip on the service at places like CFA (and Culver’s). I don’t eat that shit very often anymore, but the fact you could walk in there and feel like there’s no blood cross contamination from an employee blowing their brains out in the back is a plus. It’s also nice that a company doesn’t put up with shit employees.

That’s a completely selfish and myopic view of how our economy works. Do you think the goods and services you enjoy are only moved via your local roads? And with respect to those local roads, who maintains them? They certainly aren’t local farm roads any longer. I will reiterate - the only way you can completely separate yourself from the need for infrastructure paid for via all of our taxes is to completely separate yourself from that infrastructure altogether. Drop completely out of society and live off the grid. But you aren’t willing to do that. You want to continue to enjoy all of the comforts that come with our modern society, but don’t want to pay for them. The real world doesn’t work like that.

They're a bunch of soul-less mannequins who bought into the whole cult of their modern day prophet leader. When a fast food restaurant portrays itself as a religion, I'm wary.

"My pleasure!" pfft

Totally agree. I'd much rather be waited on by a bunch of 17-year-old multiple-baby daddies with bandaids all over their hands and bad attitudes. . .

Bold strategy, Cotton

I want to pay for what I use and not pay for what I don't use.
