Roku Channel: Any Clue?

We have tubi and a few other channels loaded on the Roku. There is just nothing about watching tv or movies appealing to me. I doubt that I have watched 1% of the big, great movies of the last decade. I could probably count the number of times that I have went to the theatres in the last 40 years on one hand. Band of Brothers and Game of Thrones are the last two series that I have really loved enough to binge. My only show that I care to watch is The Curse of Oak Island and it is not a must see.

right there with ya. i have a TV because sports. that's pretty much it.

I listen to alot of stupid ass movies I've watched a million times while working because i hate quietness..

I have ConAir on right now.

I recommend Roku as long as they aren't beefing with your TV provider

I had them until they had a falling out w/ Spectrum

Spectrum REQUIRES Roku. What beef are you referring to?

i hate the fact you have to be on your home internet to watch the shit...

yes...i was trying to use my moms account 1000 miles away... but still...
I went with Spectrum specifically because of their internet package. 200mb/s GUARANTEED. I consistently clock my speed in the 170 range, but I suspect that is router/attenuation issues rather than isp pipe issues.

I get bombarded with an ad today for Bill Burr Presents Immoral Compass…..on the Roku channel. IMDb doesn’t have a lot of ratings yet (60) but the rating average is 9.6.

Anyone know how to watch Roku channel when you don’t have a Roku? This looks super interesting.

Same. PlutoTV isn't half bad either.
We did Pluto before springing for Hulu Live. I could give two shits about live TV unless it’s sports (and have my ways), but the Mrs likes certain channels. Pluto covered most of them live.

Perhaps we will go back to that soon and save the $40-$45 a month on Hulu Live. I got out of the cable game due to cost, and almost back up there.
