A tech friend of mine was by yesterday to watch fights. He told me to not upload Windows 11. He said it's shit. And now I see this.

I never recommend upgrading to a new PC operating system like Windows 11 for at least six months after it's released. It's ALWAYS a clusterfuck! It takes MS 6 months to a year or three before they get it reasonably stable.

PLUS, it has NEW system requirements to run optimally... At least according to MS. There are "work-arounds" to still install it on older PCs but that can get a bit too techie for most people. Win10 will still get support for about 4-5 more years, so don't be in too much of a hurry to upgrade to Win11.

Windows 3.1 works fine. Considering 3.11 for awhile now, but not with the risk.

I was upset that my original 5K iMac no longer accepts new macOS upgrades, so I ordered a new M1Pro MBP as consolation...

That's a pretty KOOL "consolation"... :beer2:

While I do use the PC desktop I built last fall a lot, I have been moving over to the Apple ecosystem over the years. My laptop is a 2015 MBPro 15" and it's still running pretty good, but I'm looking to really splurge and buy the MBP 16" M1Max as my new laptop, probably around February or so.

IF the reviews hold up, and I think they will... it's looking to be quite the powerful laptop!

I considered the Max, but couldn't justify the extra cash more more GPU cores that I probably was never going to use for work.
