"The Pac-12 distributed performance bonuses to employees in its San Francisco headquarters, from commissioner Larry Scott to mid-level managers, approximately one month before half the staff was laid off or furloughed, the Hotline has learned.

Four employees from the Pac-12 Networks confirmed that their bonuses were paid this summer for performance in the 2020 fiscal year. Each requested anonymity because of the personal nature of the issue. One was willing to state the amount of the bonus: $10,000. Another indicated some bonuses covered a gamut in the four- and lower-five-figure range.

All four said they usually received bonuses in September or October for the prior fiscal year and were surprised by the expedited timeline."

What we really want to know if what do they think they accomplished that deserved bonuses in the first place. That is the real travesty.

this is nothing different from what's happening everywhere.. we can hate it but it still happens..

Well the report said all of the bonuses actually covered the 40 positions that had to be furloughed. Larry Scott is what the higher ups in Academia of the Pac 12 deserve.

SEC office hasn't been great either.
