So are Giants?

New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has officially been diagnosed with a torn ACL after an MRI on his right knee and will miss the rest of the season.

The Giants confirmed the diagnosis, noting Barkley will have surgery "in the near future."

Injuries have defined Barkley's 2020 season. The superstar running back suffered a knee injury in Week 2, with ESPN's Adam Schefter reporting at the time that the team feared it was a torn ACL

MCCAFFREY out 4-6 weeks as well

He needs to learn when to just go down.

Ouch. That is the only reason I would watch the G Men.

Tough loss for sure.

hate to hear that for such a beast of a player. hope he comes back and doesn't miss a beat.

I didn't see what happened. I'm assuming he was running and a player landed on his leg?

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw

Either way it sucks for both of the them!

McCaffery gets to come back this season if he heals right,
Sucks they are both very talented and fun to watch!

my fantasy team got fucked int he ass this weekend

james robinson from jax is a good get if you need a back, snagged him before sunday for my bench. i may have had a feeling on barkley going down as i dropped 2 WR's and grabbed 2 backs just before kickoff. hated myself for doing it too, one was cedee lamb.

Giants season was already "done" before he was hurt. They were never going to be more than a 3-5 win team with him. He's a great back, but way to many issues with this team for him to really make a huge difference in the win column. Atleast for this season.

Tons of big name in juries yesterday that will effect the direction of this season

That damn turf at the NJ Colosseum needs lit on fire.

Wayne Gallman is better anyway.

Week one, he tried to hurdle a defender on two occasions. I thought it was just a matter of time before he got himself badly hurt.

You like to see a fearless competitor, but this is the downside.

I saw that. Never a good decision. Might make for some highlight reels...or quadriplegia. Bears back, David Montgomery, just moments after Barkley went down tried to hurdle a d-lineman, at the line of scrimmage and he came down awkwardly af on his head, with the weight of a defender to boot.

Surprisingly, he came back into the game a bit later, and ended up having a good day. It looked bad tho. He's a similar back to Saquon.
Psssstt.....I think he's even better tho.

Well, they signed Freeman.
