Dating Sites.. what is your experience with them

Hell to the naw, naw naw.

Only a lonely unimaginative pathetic loser would go on a dating site. First, you'd have to be sucker enough to believe the profiles. Second, you'd have to endure endless Fakebook posts, Instagram posts, Personal messages. Then you'd have to be an idiot enough to meet, travel to try to hook up with whatever you were talking to online.

I had success with online dating. Never got truly catfished but I did get hit with a couple chicks who used old pics of themselves.

If I ever got divorced I'd def do it again.

Thing is, anybody, and I mean anybody (I'm Exhibit A for example) can post online. That's a low barrier to entry. Get out to an art auction or higher end bars and circulate, etc. You know, things, events places that screen out the riff raff and you can meet and talk eye to eye.

But, good luck to you. I hope you conceal/carry.
I'm armed for sure.. I never meet anyone except in a public place.. and I text my friend and she texts me through out the date. If I get the shady vibe I'm out of there

The only dating sites I ever used, a long time ago, consisted of dance bars, company parties, and the grocery store.

Never failed.
Things have probably changed some.

Hope that helps

Company parties are minefields. Never date where you work.

Or, as an older guy told me when I was starting out in the corporate rat race: "Don't fish from the company pier."

I’m married and work from home, so I definitely heed that advice.

Is it PF material if I point out that she might run into someone like Hunter Biden at an art auction? :noidea:
I might run into some one like him.. but he has sleaze ball oozing from every pore in his body.. plus not my type at all..

Oooooh... Texting friends throughout a date?... Remember, dudes are interviewing you just as much as you are interviewing them. I can't speak for every man, but I get irked if my wife is on her damn phone while we're out for dinner and I've been married to her for 22+ years. That shit definitely wouldn't fly with me on a first date. I recommend keeping your texting as concealed as your pistol.

Come on man. Texting a friend is a solid tactic used these days. I make my girls do it religiously.

She isn’t saying she will text non stop all date. Just check ins. It’s smart.

If he questions it you explain it. If he has a problem with it he doesn’t need a second date.

I always found mad respect when I was on a date with someone and they were checking in like this.

This is all smart and best practice. So is the paying for at least your share on a first date.

There are guys who will “expect” for paying for one dinner……

When I follow women around at the grocery store they look uneasy. Should I just go right up to them and ask for sex?
You gotta strategize first. Look in the cart. If she’s got a cart that has no kids cereal and is just White Claws and Haagen Dazs, she’s likely a single gal. Then, you have to be smooth. Say something like “You look to be lonely and childless, would you like to press our genitals together?”

I didn't say don't do it, I said keep it on the DL. She's looking for guys in my demographic, so I'm providing a perspective from that demographic.
