TV Series Ted Lasso

It's a very good show.

Makes you feel good.

really loved the Coach Beard episode after their loss to Manchester City...kind of weird but fun as hell

Best comedy since Big Bang went off the air. The writers do an amazing job getting these these characters in weird and awkward situations but also making you care about the characters.

If you watch the two seasons I don’t see how you don’t come out invested in one way or another in the majority of the main characters.

That’s important because the total opposite is the Apple show Invasion where I end up just hoping some of these characters will die so their story line will end.

Best two shoes of 2021 so far for me have been Yellowstone and Ted Lasso. I like them better than any of the Disney stuff which I did like most of.

On Invasion I do because I’m sick of their story line and the writers failed to hook me.

I hate shows like that...but not limited to Apple.

I hated the new Battlestar Gallactica because the characters just didn't do anything for me...I wanted them all to die.

I think the same went for Sons of Anarchy.

That was a weird episode. Imho, it didn’t fit with the feel of the show as a whole.

That said, that is probably an episode that deserves multiple views. Lots of hidden images in the background (the cross, for example, was constantly seen in the background) and hidden subtext.

Every episode of Ted Lasso needs at least a second viewing to catch everything. I’m not going to watch multiple times but both my wife and I have caught different things the other didn’t. I’d bet you could watch RomCom episode 3 times and not catch everything. It’s very detailed and well done.

terrible show. i watched up to the last episode where they finally show the aliens. don't really care about any of the storylines or people. just wanted to get to the actual fucking invasion. wasn't worth the wait.

My wife said the same thing. We are only watching now because she wants to see the POS dad die.

For me it was the curry episode. Season 1 I know but a laugh fest.

it was definitely weird, which is a big part of the appeal...and it matches Beard's character.

I needed an episode like that though after Ted breaking down after the Man City game...something to go in another direction before digging further into Ted.

2nd season was darker and ended dark.

Writers say they wrote the series on a 3 season arch. So I guess this is the Empire Strikes Back season. I just hope we don’t get Return of the Jedi next.

I had heard that...makes sense with the psychologist being brought in.

They established the story in season 1, grow the characters in season 2, bring it home in season 3?
