Wild Turkey Get Rich Thread - Week 12

Back In Birmingham. Company in NC sold, I got a nice exit package and my wife wanted to be near family.
Awesome, except for the Birmingham part

We like it. Nice place to live but I miss the boat. I'm just worried that TN and NC are filling up with Yankees and they are going to start moving here. That was the thing I disliked most about NC was how many people from NY and NJ were running around, being rude and driving like maniacs. Hard workers though I would hire a NY person before a homegrown Wilmington, NC person because those people were on beach time.

IF yankees are going to overrun any place in Alabama, it's probably gonna be B-Ham

Huntsville has exploded and Mobile has the water. I could see any of the 3 becoming the next move to spot for the yanks.

If my theory is correct, TCU covers that spread with ease.

What is your theory because I have Kanas and the points.

You aren't as good or as bad as your last game. Kansas is coming off their biggest win in 5 years. TCU got embarrassed. It balances out. It's pretty simple, but it usually holds up. The only thing you have to take into account is if there is a quit factor(with TCU). If so, that obviously throws a wrench into it.

It’s 21 points.

My theory is Texas screwed up and let the Jayhawks believe in themselves. Won’t win but they will get wi the in the point spread. Gave it my highest confidence.

Yeah I get it's 21 points. I also think playing a road game in back to back games is something to consider as well. We'll see what happens, but I'm taking TCU to cover.

Ohio State as a 19 point favorite is going to cover with ease. It’s s the #1 passing offense going against the #130 passing defense. They might cover the O/U on their own.
Take Ohio State and the Over
What is the O/U in that game? There could be 80 points scored. I think MSU keeps it close if they are able to run the ball, which I think they will with K9. OSU's defense isn't as good as it has been in years past.

That being said -- they may pass for 800 yards in the game if they have to. I'm dreading the UM OSU game. I just hope we are able to run the ball effectively. If we can't, it is going to be a LOOOOOOONG game.

Wake @ Clemson -4

Take +4 Wake
1. We're in week 12 and Vegas/CPUs are still struggling to ignore Clemson's pre-season rankings.
2. The two times Clemson has covered was against FSU's end of game hook and lateral play that Clemson return a fumble 6 to cover and had to come up with goalline stand against to Louisville to cover and win
3. No matter how bad the defense they're facing, the offense is even worst. Against UCONN (yes UCONN), the offense could only mustard up 4.89 yards per play. For context the 112th averages 4.88 yards per play.

According to ESPN 68.5 is the over under. This is going over and it ain’t even going to be close.

I thought about this one but game is at home and Clemson has really only lost to ranked teams. If you believe in a 3 to 7 point advantage for the home team that line gets tight.

My sole purpose is to make people rich not take unnecessary risks.

I can’t stop people from throwing away money. Free country and all.

I grew up near Jasper back when people referred to B'ham as Bombingham. There are some nice areas around the city but stay safe. Damned if I will ever move back there.

Wow. I agree with you. I think it goes over too. I think MSU will put up points on OSU and OSU will be able to put up a ton of points with their passing attack.

Did you hear the rumor about Mel Tucker and MSU? Valenti said there is a rumor MSU is offering Tucker 10 years 95 million. He'd be the 2nd highest paid coach in all of CFB. Not sure if this is him starting a rumor to drum up phone calls for his show or not, but that is CRAZY.

I heard the rumor and until there is pen to paper I’m not 100% sold, even with the Tuck Stayin thread I created, it was mostly a joke. If he wants that kind of pay level he had better put up that kind of results.

This is going to be an albatross contract because he won’t live up to the hype or the expectations the same way Harbaugh didn’t. This will probably the pinnacle because he lives and dies by Walker. We don’t have a quarterback and our defensive secondary may be the worst thing I have ever seen at any program.

You didn’t see Auburn’s offensive line last year.
