so, that's on SF and Lubick's failure to stick with the damn run. I mean to credit someone else, i think Rahmir Johnson has played really well since becoming more of the featured back. Start at Minnesota, RJ only had 11 touches but was getting 7.5 a carry (I think he got injured in that game right so didn't play much towards the end). But look at play chart early:
drive 1: 3 and out, 1 run, 2 passes
Drive 2: FG: started with 22yd pass, but then Betts 25yd run, 2 more runs, then sack.
Drive 3: 3 and out, 1 run, 2 passes
Drive 4: TD: 6 runs, 3 passes, (2 out of 3 passes were incomplete)

we move the ball better with the run game but SF just doesn't stick with it or thinks too hard about it. not sure if he doesn't have enough plays in the offense or doesn't think he can get repeated success using the same play? just wish he'd stick with stuff that is working more often.

Two weeks ago our Huskers held OSU to 26. They've put up 49 in the first half against a 9-1 team. College football is crazy.

In basically the same defensive scheme.

Option was working a bit, then stopped that play calling. IDK, but there seems to be some negative energy with Frost, coaching staff and team that I don't think Frost/team can overcome. Next year from what I see player wise and schedule will be a 4-5 win season at best. Alberts will need to make decision IMO.

AM got banged up again and SF won't put in Smothers. Put him in at end of half because something was wrong. I was thinking the same thing about the option, as AM running was the best play and definitely looked like it was there. That first Smothers play almost broke loose but the RB got knocked into him.
