Dan Mullen out @ Florida

Never in my life would I've thought all 3 Florida schools would be a disaster in college football. We're at the point Desantis needs to put an embargo on other states poaching Florida kids.

I’d say he quit on the team. He got all the respect that he earned.

Looks that way.

I'm kinda' bummed about it because he's such a great OC. And Charlie was a great DC when they coached together. Both have proven poor HCs. They just don't have the mgmt skills.
Now recruiting is all f'ed-up and we're losing quality signors.

It's just a bummer...was hoping he'd pull a miracle and fix his fuck ups.

BTW, had Mullen gotten rid of our shitty DC last year, we probably wouldn't be shitting the bed now. Finally caving to pressure and firing Grantham a year too late just looked ridiculous. It's like he didn't notice we couldn't win big games after giving away the 1st quarter every game....and having no tackling skillz.

Mullen's biggest sin was being loyal to shitty staff.

Couldn't agree more. The only thing I would add is that his recruiting is poor too, and he expressed no urgency in trying to correct it. Several little things just piled up on him, and he lost control.

Looks like Mizzou got the last laugh after Mullen did this

Hearing, on Twitter, he declined offer to coach against FSU this week.

USC, LSU and now Florida? We just Texas to fire Sark so we can have the ultimate bidding war.
