The Monday after Thanksgiving thread

I bought one of those VR headsets over the weekend. Had to create a Facebook account, but it’s all set to private.

This thing is so much more awesome than I expected. I can’t believe how “real” it feels. It teleports me to another dimension. Feels like having superpowers or some shit.

It’s required to use it. I heard it’s how they were able to keep the low cost. Other VR headsets are a lot more costly.

You can buy one pretty much anywhere. But it is manufactured by Facebook. I bought mine at Costco.

Yeah I do remember seeing those being advertised... Not sure I would go out and buy it though

I haven’t seen any ads when using this device. Maybe it’s for ads when using Facebook. They gotta be making money somehow on this requirement.

I'm all caught up on news they're trying to cover up.
 
doing a CBT and it looks like a pretty nice and easy 31 slide presentation, but each slide has like 10 slides inside it and so much information on material science that it is just ridiculous...

luckily it is an open book test at the end.
