Hey man, if you want to live in a fake reality go for it. I get it, its' what happens when your team isn't doing so well.

A fake reality? You really should stop trying to deny stuff you've actually said. Here's a recap for you.

What I said yesterday.

Don't forget that JH was afraid to play Ohio State last season. What a pussy.

Here's your response to my comment.

Based on yesterday it seems like that's probably good for Ryan Day that we didn't play.

So you think because of what happened on Saturday you said meeeechegan would have beaten Ohio State last year. There's something wrong with you. But I hope you keep trying to deny stuff you actually say, it's funny. And it makes you look like the ultimate super-homer.

Haskins was our RB last year. Haskins just ran for 5 TD's. So yes. You're a crazy homer.

this aged well...

Meh...I could have predicted a blow out like a lot of people were doing. The inability to stop the run took me by surprise. Sucks losing to them but this team will come back more experienced next year and start Michigan's suffering once again

Hopefully we get a whole defensive overhaul after that. No excuse for getting gashed play after play by a team that was pretty much no threat to really throw the ball.

Our run defense was quite a bit better last year.
I don't know what it ranked prior to this game but OSU's rush defense was likely in the top 15, if not top 10, prior to this game. And finished last year #6. I suspect both years it was a bit of a paper tiger -- OSU's offense often comes out quick against teams so they're forced to abandon the run to try and keep up.

Exactly. Minnesota & Oregon we never really got out early and we got absolutely gashed on the ground. Same thing happened against Michigan.

The LBers are just not good to begin with and the Dline being super inconsistent this year did not help those matters.

I woulda killed for Tuf Borland on this team. He was a complete disaster in pass coverage but was at least pretty decent as a run defending LBer

As bad as the Run D was the offensive play calling mighta been just as bad.

I do not understand keeping up trying to force then run when it cleary wasnt working

That god awful slow developing under center handoff call on 3rd and 1 to start the 2nd half pretty much set the tone for the rest of the game.

So in this thread we've learned that UoM's win streak vs tOSU currently stands at two.

As if Saturday's loss wasn't hard enough to stomach, to now learn that the 7-1, #2 ranked 2020 Buckeyes also got boat raced last November by a 2-4, unranked UoM team is just too much for me to bear.

This Scenario Village fucking sucks.

I was reading an article on the game that has some of the stats and grades for players. The most absurd stat of the game -- Aiden Hutchinson had 15 QB pressures himself. The entire OSU defense only had 2.
Other crazy stat -- for as much as UM ran the ball -- OSU had zero tackles for loss.

OSU is absolutely stacked on offense at the skill positions, but they need to find some of that elite talent for the other side of the ball. It isn't about schemes or changing coaches (that is simply putting a bandaid on a bullet wound) -- that doesn't matter if you don't have talent and right now OSU doesn't have the game changers on defense they have had for so many years.

The DL will be fine. The secondary will be better once these guys get more experience. Linebacker has been the issue for some time

Lol. Like #2 means anything to us. We thrive on beating you at #2.

The DL looked good when they were playing teams will lesser talent. But the two teams they faced with talent on the OL and a running game -- they were absolutely torched.
There isn't a single player on OSU DL teams need to game plan to try and stop. There isn't a CB teams have to try and avoid. For 10+ years -- that was always the case with OSU. Some years, it was both DE's, some years they have multiple 1st round NFL picks at CB.

Defensively -- OSU needs to make some changes or any team who can play physical is going to push them around. If Michigan did that to OSU, just think what Georgia would have done to OSU.

Washington can get the linebackers turned around. The recruiting in that position was such a disaster under Davis it's taking a few seasons and doing things like moving RBs to LB. Recruiting has picked up so hopefully we start to see some improvement

They have the #1 and #5 DE recruits as freshmen this year. Tyliek Williams emerged as a true freshman in the interior and played really well. The D line will get better. The LBs still worry me

They need one or two of them to develop into a disruptive player teams have to game plan around. I looked at OSU's defense before we played this year and there wasn't a single player I thought, I sure hope UM has a game plan for him. I thought UM would be able to score this year. I just didn't think we'd be able to score as much as OSU.

Offensively -- You guys are so unbelievably stacked. Will be interesting to see if Fleming and Egbuka can fill the shoes left by Olave and Wilson. I wasn't impressed with what I saw out of Fleming thus far -- he was a guy I really wanted UM to get and let out a sigh when he signed with OSU. I think losing Olave and Wilson will hurt, but Ngjiba-Smith is the best WR OSU has on their team right now -- so he will be a headached for anyone to stop.
