There is a reason all of the top 10 generating programs are on the East Coast. I think the NIL potential is just as strong at programs like Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, etc. as USC. You guys are limited to one city mentality while I am more focus on size and power of the National Brand and fanbase of programs.

So according to your line of thinking, if a Heisman caliber player is at USC no one outside the LA market will ever hear of him, among the 12 million folks there, but if....
...another Heisman caliber player is from BFE school on the east coast, he will automatically get national attention.
How can you be so stupid?
Tell us Moron!
For now, you guys would be elated to have what OU has had under Riley. Keeping in mind we will go to a 12 team CFP in 2023-ish, you should get in every year. Whether you can win it will be something else.Oregon is building back up under Cristobal, so they likely stay in the hunt. They were quietly building themselves up during the Pete Carroll era, but no one really caught on to it because USC was so big. Then, with USC out of the way, they have done the
Washington could get back in the mix to if they can get the right coach hired.
Agree re: defense. I think he is bringing his DC with him, which may not be such a good thing. He's going to have to have at least a solid defense if he wants to have a real shot at an NC instead of just making the cfp and getting crushed in the first round.
What the fuck does either question have to do with the post you are responding to?You guys are saying the same shit about Oklahoma.
Which program right now is closer to having a Heisman candidate?
REPOST:
You’re not understanding.
1. If guys get “big,” then they can get “local” opportunities anywhere.
2. Would you want those local opportunities to be in L.A. or BFE?
3. Local NIL opportunities are a non-trivial percentage of total NIL opportunities.
UNDERSTAND?
Do you want to be a Heisman contending QB in LA or Norman? You’ll return with the fact that both will get national attention. Yes, but the local opportunities are much better in LA then Norman, and those local opportunities are not a small percentage of one’s total opportunities.
It only gets worse for Norman if the player isn’t a National Heisman contender.
Do you want to be the #1 stud wife receiver in Norman or in USC when it comes to NIL opportunities?
Do you want the guy who has 13 Range Rover dealerships in the southern Cali area cutting you a check, or the guy who has 6 Chevy dealerships in Okc?

The 10 most valuable programs in college football
The chatter surrounding conference realignment has sparked a debate on whether Texas and Oklahoma are worthy of joining the SEC.longhornswire.usatoday.com
Fine, I sent this in a private message to @Wild Turkey
So Oklahoma is ahead of USC in most all-time CFB programs, way ahead of USC in revenue generation, ahead of USC right now in wins over last decade, and is about to head to the Conference with the most exposure for College Football yet all of the idiots on this board want to argue with me that USC is such a massively better opportunity than Oklahoma.
I literally do not get it. I can understand some disagreement but to call me stupid or say I don't know what I am talking about? Everything posted above is FACT, not speculation and not opportunity.
If USC had all the merits you idiots keep pointing out, it would easily be ahead of Texas as the most profitable college football program and frankly it would run the sport no matter how shitty the coach was at USC.

College Football’s Most Valuable Teams: Reigning Champion Clemson Tigers Claw Into Top 25
Clemson’s on-field dominance has been paying off—the No. 1 team in the country now generates nearly $80 million per year in revenue, ranking the Tigers among the sport’s most valuable teams for the first time.www.forbes.com
Bro, we told you you were too stupid to comprehend this and you've proved us right time after time.
We are convinced now beyond any speculation. Your work here is done. You have made believers out of all of us! Well done, Idiot!
wait so your telling me if Helton went 9-3 his past 3 seasons, he still would have been fired?? I also bet the recruiting would have been better had he churned out more 9-3 seasons
No dummy....you just failed as usual to comprehend it. Either you are the smartest poster here and we are all wrong...or...You have literally added nothing constructive to this thread and your one shining post was saying that Alabama NIL deal would be limited to just the 90,000 fans in Tuscaloosa. Do you even read your own posts?

You are the one that is wrong. Hmmmm.... let's take a vote.
1. Do you rememvber Reggie Bush and Leinart and their receivers? They were superstars locally.A lot of this is still speculation and it actually depends on the player's personality as well. Do you not think Oklahoma would NOT have great deals as well? You are assuming that players going to USC are going to be Hollywood stars and every LA media company would want them. I don't agree with that notion.
If USC had the benefits you talked about, they would be valued so low in CFB Value metrics and they would have a lot easier time winning and getting to recruits.
You can say coaching all day long but there is more to it then that. Prior to Riley leaving, Oklahoma was a better option for a top athlete because they were ranked in top 10 regularly, on tv far more often, and had a better avenue to the NFL. However, if Oklahoma botches this hire, I might agree with you.
Nothing you guys are talking about with USC is even guaranteed to happen. Keep in mind that CFB's top revenue generation is fans.
