The programs can make all kinds of money. Last I checked, the programs cant pay their players, can they? The answer is No, in case you didn't know. So stop talking about that point, its irrelevant.Actually it does because it shows what programs are making $$$ and where the $$$ is. Damn why can't people figure that out on here?
If you guys were so correct, the Pac12 Network profits would be through the roof.
It isnt about the PAC 12, or Vanderbilt, or any of your other arguments. Its simply that you hate California, so your clouded judgment wont allow you to realize that the most well known college on the entire west coast is USC, AND...USC will have more financial opportunities for NIL than fucking Oklahoma! (no offense Sooners)
NIL is going to change many things, and it has nothing to do with TV deals, or conference alignment, or program revenues. It will have to do with where kids can get paid personally.
I love the wild speculation on your part, but then pointing the finger at everyone else and saying they are the ones speculating. You have done it time and time again. Does anyone KNOW, with absolute certainty, how all this plays out? No, but I will bet you anything that when the numbers start rolling out, that the cities where the money is, are going to have a shift in talent. The cites where the boosters own the most businesses, and have the higher populations, will have an advantage.
This is not to say that some of these big time schools wont be what they are, but it will be a game of "haves and have nots" and there will be no shortage of money in USC players pockets.
Quick, tell me more about Vegas!
