I think they’d stay with what they have. It’s iconic and one of the best uniforms in the league.change their team colors to black, silver and gold to match up with the Knights and the Raiders?
I'd hope not, the A's have one of the best uniforms in the game
I do like when a city has uniforms of all the same color scheme though...feels like Vegas was trying to go that route.I think they’d stay with what they have. It’s iconic and one of the best uniforms in the league.
Maybe. I'm pretty sure when they were given an NHL team, they already knew the Raiders were coming soI do like when a city has uniforms of all the same color scheme though...feels like Vegas was trying to go that route.
Meh. I have heard so much bullshit about this. The A's have been trying to use Vegas as leverage to get what they want from Oakland. I honestly dont see this coming to fruition in Vegas, and they have talked about sites like the Rio, and doing something further South of the strip, but I thinks its all a ploy.I'd like to get our resident Las Vegan's opinion. What say ye @Peter Gozintite ?
Yeah that place is always crowded. I first saw this on a Facebook post about Vegas, most comments were similar to yours. One was along the lines of "yeah, because that intersection definitely needs more people"Meh. I have heard so much bullshit about this. The local writers and radio guys seem to think that Oakland will eventually bend and build them a new place. They also dont think the A's will get the public funding here, like the Raiders did, and I agree that the voters will NOT go for another public funded facility. SO if the A's are thinking that the Vegas people want to pay for them to build, and are banking on that, its a definite no go.
I dont give 2 shits about baseball, and never have. I know there are some fans here, but they barely fill up the new minor league park, and its a super nice place. If they build that park on the Trop site, and there happens to be baseball, and events at the T-Mobile and Allegiant, it will be a fucking nightmare down there. Then again, I dont go the fucking strip unless I am at a Knights game, so I dont really care where they put it.

It's like the Packers, except good looking.
I’m with you on this. They may be iconic, but they’re ugly as fuck. What do elephants have to do with “Athletics” or Oakland (or Kansas City or Philadelphia).
Apparently, you can thank the Giants for that.I’m with you on this. They may be iconic, but they’re ugly as fuck. What do elephants have to do with “Athletics” or Oakland (or Kansas City or Philadelphia).
The Giants won that Series and they kept it as their mascot? Very on-brand for them.Apparently, you can thank the Giants for that.
The story behind A's elephant logo
"Of all the fit and fierce creatures in the animal kingdom, why is the selection to represent the “Athletics” organization a slow-moving mammoth? Turns out the elephant logo -- which dates back more than a century -- was partially inspired by Oakland’s rival across the Bay.
The origin of the elephant dates back to 1902, when John McGraw held a news conference after he was set to leave his position as manager of the Baltimore Orioles to take on the same role with the New York Giants. A reporter asked McGraw about his thoughts on the Philadelphia A’s, who at the time had been making headlines as they bought up contracts of some of the top players in the National League, such as Hall of Fame pitcher Rube Waddell and outfielder Topsy Hartsel. Unenthused by the question, McGraw responded, “The Philadelphia club will make no money. They have a big white elephant on their hands.”
That diss by McGraw got back to then-A’s owner Connie Mack, who was amused by the comment so much that he made a white elephant the team’s unofficial mascot as a sort of rallying cry. Three years later, when the A’s and Giants squared off in the 1905 World Series, Mack carried on the playful back and forth by presenting McGraw with a white elephant statue before Game 1."

Very on-brand for you as well.the elephant logo is one of my favorites in sports
I like the weird stories and traditions some teams have.Very on-brand for you as well.
Good local insight. My first thought was “well, it worked out well for the Raiders”. But, if this needs strong public funding and voter approval I’m not sure I can see that happening soon.Meh. They may officially be the Athletics, but no one actually calls them that.I think if they move to Vegas they should just rename the whole team.
Las Vegas Athletics doesn’t sound right.
Just strictly be the A’s. Las Vegas A’s is a good name.
