Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

Yes, but haven't 3-4 guys already announced transferring and Allen and some others that could have come back aren't, so that opens a few more spots.

New OC might have some guys in the portal he wants to go after so need to get on top of that. I feel like we'll be looking for that transfer route if we want to right this ship. Who's SF really developed on the offensive side? TEs were main bright side.

And the reason you need an ST coach. If you want a long thread:

If you want one picture.

Remember all of those players who transferred to Oregon State? Yeah, they're 7-5 this year and going to a bowl game.

Mickey Joseph possibly for WRs? He's in play with LSU going through a coaching search. If Frost already looking for WR coach, makes me think he might have an OC in place.

:gaah: Argh, I have no good places to vent. The wife pissing me off with her procrastination and inability to see how she could fix all of her problems by simply putting down her kindle and actually doing something.

Who's still there? Looking at stats, the only names I remember are:
Tyjon Lindsey - 5th in receiving yards at 232
Avery Roberts is the big miss as he's their leading tackler, 2.5 sacks and 1 INT, but our LBs aren't bad, so not sure how much he'd help.

Is there someone else?

Tristan Gebbia is still there but it looks like he didn't see the field this year.

And here's BIG all conference Defense:

Seems about right. Henrich being #7 in tackles and not getting at least honorable mention is probably biggest snub. Maybe Reimer not being in top 3 teams. But he's not as dynamic as some of the others since he didn't get sacks or INTs. Albeit, I don't know shit about all the other guys.

Shockingly no Huskers made the all conference team for special teams.

I'd have fired Frost immediately after the Iowa game. Dude has refused to fix glaring problems week in and week out, year after year.
Enough is enough.

Alberts got his contract reworked down to a $7 million buyout 3 weeks ago. Give him his $7 million and tell him to hit the road. "We changed out mind, thanks for signing, sucker"

A guy can either put the pieces together and get people lined up right in all facets of the game or he can't. After year 4 it's obvious that Frost is not up to the task.
Even with a new OC, Frost won't be able to keep his hands off of the play calling. He thinks he's T.O.

There's just gonna be more of the same next season. "Something, Something new offensive coaching staff, players need to get use to that". An easier schedule, but "Yay, we made a bowl at (6-6) or (7-5)" if they even do that.

Why kick the can down the road? End this Bill Jennings shitshow.

I only need to look at one thing to know this program is going nowhere under Frost. Get somebody new. ANYBODY!!! But stop the dumbfuckery.

Devaney took Jennings roster and went (9-2), (10-1).

It's all about putting the pieces together, getting them lined up right, and ensuring basic fundamentals.

(3-9) in year four of one of the easiest divisions in CFB? GTFO

About what I would expect from a 3-9 team, whose offensive production cost them some games.

Saw someone on Twitter saying Jurgens is considering the jump to NFL. Dude has to be a fringe 7th rounder right? Come back next year, if offense is better and he improves the way he should, that could jump substantially imo.

AM in the portal.

I'm torn. I know I've trashed his play. I've also even said SF needed to move on from AM, just to see if you get a different result. But I do respect the guy, constant/tough competitor. I wish him all the best and hope he has success wherever he lands.

I thought maybe he'd wait to talk to our new OC, but I guess you probably need to get started on that process as early as you can.
