Movie The Matrix 4: Resurrections (2021)

Only a matter of time before that trailer is released public.

From the little I have read from the trailer it doesn't really sound like a sequel to the original trilogy.

I don't get why they didn't let Lawrence Fishburn be in the movie when it looks like they did an obvious recast of him.

I happened upon this when on the website...
It will be in theaters nationwide and on HBO Max via the Ad-Free plan on December 22, 2021; it will be available on HBO Max for 31 days from theatrical release.

I will see it, for sure. But I am not certain I will go to the theaters for it. I will pay attention to fan reviews on that decision.

There's very few movies I give a fuck about enough to see (on TV or in theaters), so if something ever comes out, especially with how slow movies have churned out since covid, I may as well give em my $5 to watch in Theaters
 
I'll see it in IMAX.

At that price for a theater seat, you need to bring your own seat cover just to avoid getting TB.
 
In my local theater (a very good Regal theater), unless you are going to a 9 AM Tuesday showing, you are looking at AT LEAST $18 for a seat.
 
If I hear from somebody I trust that it's better than the 3rd movie (which was a steaming pile of shit), I might try to find it free and if not rent the Bluray.
