Alabama loses the game if the RB simply stays in bounds. Period. So either the RB has zero IQ or the coach is a complete idiot for running a play toward the sidelines. Take your pick. You can point fingers anywhere else you'd like, but that play was the football game.
And lastly -- if Bama was the more deserving team -- I would have zero problem with the seeding. If UM had struggled with Iowa before getting the win, I could see Bama jumping them in the seeding. The seedings weren't based on merit -- they were based on matchups though and not wanting the same two teams to play in back to back games. Period.
And honestly -- I don't care who UM plays -- I'm just happy they finally got over the hump. Every team in the CFP would rather play Cincy in the first game over any of the other teams, but in the end, there are no pushovers in the CFP, so you are going to be playing a quality team no matter who it is.
