Official CFP Matchups

What say you @olympicoscar ?
You spent multiple pages arguing this would "NEVER" happen.
This could be your greatest mental gymnastics, move the goalposts, moon walk ever recorded.

Well it happened. Congrats to Cincinnati.

You’re such a pussy.

1. Auburn doesn’t owe you shit and we‘ve beaten Saban more than anyone in the country so fuck off on that.

2. We played those two practically back to back for years so nut up.

I find it hilarious that you B1G guys bitch about how the SEC gets preferential treatment and when you get the chance to show them what you’re made of you want to complain. Nut up buttercup.
1. I agree Auburn doesn't owe anyone shit. I actually think it is humorous that Bama could win a national title and Auburn will have an enormous hand in making it possible for them.

2. I'd think if anyone would understand why you don't want to play Georgia -- it'd be Auburn. Georgia has beaten Auburn like 13 out of the last 15 times. And no one wants to play Bama. There isn't a tougher road to winning a title than having to play them both.

Baylor loss to 5-7 Tcu is much worse than losing to 12-1 Alabama even if it wasnt close. No 2 loss team with that bad of a loss deserves the playoffs. If Baylor hadn’t lost to TCU, they would be more deserving
Second time in a decade that TCU cost Baylor a shot at the playoffs

Dude the odds of Auburn beating Alabama were so low no idiot would have made the bet.

The fact that we took them to 4 OTs with a backup QB on one leg is amazing. If you want to fault someone put it on Harsin for not going for 2 in the first OT because Auburn wasn’t going to win a slug feast in OT. Put it all on one play. Not a. 19 year old kid playing his heart out.

Auburn went above and beyond and have nothing to be ashamed of.

As for #2 nut up and play the games. In 2017 we beat both Alabama and Georgia and then had to play Georgia again and would have met Alabama again if we won. Seriously you’re coming off as the biggest pussy in history.

You misspelled *had the game actually already won except your coaches and runner are epic level idiots*

Alabama loses the game if the RB simply stays in bounds. Period. So either the RB has zero IQ or the coach is a complete idiot for running a play toward the sidelines. Take your pick. You can point fingers anywhere else you'd like, but that play was the football game.

And lastly -- if Bama was the more deserving team -- I would have zero problem with the seeding. If UM had struggled with Iowa before getting the win, I could see Bama jumping them in the seeding. The seedings weren't based on merit -- they were based on matchups though and not wanting the same two teams to play in back to back games. Period.

And honestly -- I don't care who UM plays -- I'm just happy they finally got over the hump. Every team in the CFP would rather play Cincy in the first game over any of the other teams, but in the end, there are no pushovers in the CFP, so you are going to be playing a quality team no matter who it is.

If Michigan was #1, Cincinnati would have been #3...book it.
His mind can’t accept it because he is too upset over the possibility of playing two SEC teams back to back and it’s Auburn’s fault.

I’m just grateful these guys don’t play a regular SEC schedule or the suicide stats would be through the roof up North.

It’s funny how the SEC isn’t that tough until they have to play us. Can’t count how many Texas fans over the years gave us crap for playing Ole Miss and then when they beat them called it a quality win.

Reality checks are hard.

If they were based on matchups they could have just made UM #1 and Cincinnati #3. They didn't.

UM struggled with Rutgers, Penn State and Wisky...they aren't any more deserving than Alabama. Your gonna have to get your big boy pants on eventually, might as well be in the first game.

explain this?

We beat Wisconsin by 30 at Wisconsin. We also beat PSU at PSU -- the same Penn State that beat Auburn way more convincingly than Bama did AND Auburn actually had their starting QB.

Bama almost lost to 6-6 LSU, almost lost to 6-6 Florida, should have lost to 6-6 Auburn, you did lose to 8-4 aTm.

So there isn't a reason for Bama to jump UM after UM beats a 10 win team 42-3, other than to set the teams up so Bama doesn't play Georgia again right away.

Does Michigan have a good passing game because Georgia's strength is against the run. They're gonna shut Michigan the fuck down unless they have a superior air attack. Cincinnati, great feel good story. Congrats you're about lose by 4 TDs, think lsu vs ou '19.

This "eye test" bullshit has to go. Conference champ should he a prerequisite until an expanded playoff happens.

A sec rematch. Won't watch.

Meh, does it really matter? If Michigan is really the best team in the country, they'll prove it on the field in January

Yeah, about that.

Only 4 SEC teams played both Georgia and Alabama.
None of those 4 played Georgia and Alabama "back to back". Mostly 5 or 6 week breaks in between. So you can retire that line of BS.

Here are the 4 and the 3 G5's or FCS teams they each feasted on to get bowl eligible.

Tennessee: (7-5) OOC: Bowling Green, Tennessee Tech, South Alabama, Pitt
Florida: (6-6) OOC: FAU, USF, Samford, FSU
Arkansas: (8-4) OOC: Rice, Ga Southern, Arky Pine Bluff, Texas
Auburn: (6-6) OOC: Akron, Alcorn St, Ga State, Penn St

How 'bout the SEC move to a 9 game conference schedule?

My bad it was 3-9 Nebraska not Wisky, hard to keep all the mediocre Big 10 teams straight. Penn State beat Auburn by 8 at home, Alabama beat them in Jordan Hare. If you think that doesn't matter then you're dumb, that was Saban's 4th win at Jordan Hare in 8 tries, you may have noticed that we've been pretty successful at other places over that span. Saban has lost more games at Jordan Hare than he has in the playoffs with 3 less games. , 4-4 at Jordan Hare, 8-3 in the playoffs.

UM beat a 10 win Iowa team that avoided Michigan, Michigan St, and Ohio State during the regular season. Who won 5 of their last 7 by a total of 30 points and got blown out by Wisky and Purdue, lol.

You don't need to take my word for it. You'll find out why Bama jumped over UM when you play Georgia on the 31st.
