I mean realistically idgaf, Amex would have had my back on any dispute regardless of who I booked it through.Priceline and Expedia is for poors.
If there's any conflict between someone who booked through one of these, and someone who booked directly with the service provider, the Priceline shmuck is getting fucked every time.

@Thumper, what's yourn follower count on Twatter these days? The same reason anyone tells anyone about how many friends they have online
I’ve never had an issue booking anything through any third party app. My “issue” here is that I didn’t go higher up the option chain when picking which agency to book through. I only got “taken” for $33, but the better tier options would have all been like $100 more anyway, so I saved some scratch for having to deal with these muppetsI've had mixed results with priceline. Haven't used them much though. An example would be I was able to stay at a Ritz for like 80 bucks on a saturday but it was clear they earmarked several of their rooms closest to train tracks for the deal. Moral of the story being things that are too good to be true often are.
Orlando is the car rental capital of the world bby

You sure do get what you pay for in the car rental game. I’ve done it once or twice too. Toughest one I learned is those lower tiers often do not let you leave the state with their car.I’ve never had an issue booking anything through any third party app. My “issue” here is that I didn’t go higher up the option chain when picking which agency to book through. That put me in a little pickle once….
Yea this place had that condition. Not like I care because we were just buzzing around Tampa, but I’m guessing with 55k miles on a 2020 that it’s definitely left the state a few times…You sure do get what you pay for in the car rental game. I don't know, can't say I hate something I have never used or am extremely unlikely to ever use.
Our dumbassery is less contained than it once was. We didn't have kids eating tide pods and destroying bathrooms for clicks on a phone screen.
How did they know you left the state?
no, having drinkware without logos does not push you over the adult threshold.BEHOLD!
I asked for drinking glasses for Christmas to replace my collection of pint glasses...I think that means I am an adult now..
ok goodno, having drinkware without logos does not push you over the adult threshold.
I did alot of dumb shit as a kid... probably worse than some of that because there was no camera and I knew I'd never get caught.
but the thing about it now is that some people get rich for videoing them doing stupid shit...so it is a double edged swordYep. I tell my kids I grew up lucky and that they need to assume there's a camera on them at all times when in public.
When I was a kid everything was on paper and when the file drawer got full they threw the back half in the trash can to make space.
Now everything's digital and stays with them forever.

using "you have a higher chance of getting caught" seems like bad parenting to meYep. I tell my kids I grew up lucky and that they need to assume there's a camera on them at all times when in public.
