There are some in Tulsa, but here in OKC we have 3 that I know of.
All 3 have good coverage of local teams. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Thunder

Post the ones in your area we might want to listen to.

not sure why anyone would want to listen to local sports radio that doesn't cover their favorite teams?

is that actually a thing that people do?

I was wanting to tune in if something breaks on that team, and see what they are saying.
Almost like a directory of sorts.

Every day ???
No

I listen to AM 570 KLAC out here. Nice mix of national (Dan Patrick, Cowherd) and local.

Local sports radio in my area sucks balls. One AM and one FM station. FM station signal is weak so can't get much from it. The AM station is pretty much Browns 24/7 regardless of the time of year

We lost our local FM station awhile back. (Detroit pro sports, MSU and UofM plus other locals. Non-Detroit)

The afternoon drive time show remains in syndication statewide.

Bill “Huge” Simonson Used to have a radio gig out of Tulsa, then Chicago, now Grand Rapids for the last 15 years or so. Not sure if he still does the weekends for CBSsportsradio or not. Solid show, good interviews and guests.

The Sports Animal truly sucks ass. 5 minutes of commercials then 2 minutes of talk radio then another 5 minutes of commercials and on and on and on. To make it worse, the 2 minutes of talk too often has Jim Traber and Al Eschbach yelling at each other about something that should have been resolved in about 30 seconds.

I just go to KREF in Norman because it's easiest to stream. Not always homerism either. But they do know the program better than anyone else. KREF

How in the fuck these two have held onto their jobs is beyond me.

Traber is king fuckhead and eschbach is OU's personal Corso. :L

KJR used to be my go-to when I listened to sports radio regularly. They also carry UW and now the Kraken. They have a show with a WSU alum host too. Obviously an abundance of Seahawks and Mariners talk throughout as well.

710 am is the espn affiliate. I never listened to that one much

Those are the two dedicated sports radio stations in the Seattle area. Unless there’s more now and I’m just out of the loop.

Local for Cincy is very meh. Mo Egger is on 1530a.m. in the afternoons, but I can only take him in tiny doses, he's kind of annoying to me. Then you have Lance McCallister, who's ok, I guess.

I'd much rather listen to Colin Cowherd than any of them, far more entertaining

680 The Fan is the sports radio station for the Atlanta market. They're mainly focused on the Braves and UGA. Buck Belue(the QB that handed the ball to Herschel), Joe Hamilton(GT QB in the late 90's), Hutson Mason(2014 UGA QB) and Brian Finneran(Falcons WR in the 00's) are all part of the station, but the best show is Chuck and Chernoff in the afternoon.

There's also 92.9 the Game, but it sucks. It's the station for the Hawks and Falcons.

Don't really get to listen much anymore since I'm a foreman mostly focused on maintenance and don't run equipment near as often as I used to.

This one is pretty much throughout the state of WV. Predominantly WVU but also has some Marshall and HS sports daily show:

Personally I like Bill King out of Nashville on WNSR (7-10 est. ) stream him in WV. Ol boy is outstanding for any fan base IMO. Knowledgeable and can cover any program ya want on the fly.

90% delusional gamecock shit. Remaining 10% is maybe Panthers

Does listening to SiriusXM radio count as local? Cause it was a real treat last week listening to Danny/Dusty then Full Ride last Wed for ESD talk about how UT was ruining the innocence of CFB

Vegas has some good local shows. The Press Box is a couple of local sports writers that do a show in the morning. Then I turn it off until the afternoon show, Cofield and Company comes on. Vegas local shows cover much of the national topics, but also focus on local sports, and of course gambling.

what always cracks me up are those "sports investors" guys who have their paid radio informercial every saturday morning during football season, couple of hucksters who sound like they're from the bronx and how they've got all the weekend bets lined up perfectly, and all you need to do is give them a call and they'll have you turning a $100 bet into $20k-$50k in no time flat

We use to Have the best morning show in America on WJOX 94.5. But those guys decided to leave and launch a digital platform and do their show on there. Now we are stuck with Greg McElroy and Cole Cubelic.
