I mentioned this in the Covid thread a few weeks back, but when I was out at a bar a few months ago we were allowed to sit as long as we wanted with no mask. But as soon as I got up to go to the bathroom I was told to put on a mask while not seated.

As we all know, Covid only spreads as you're walking.

What the FUCK does having only one entrance/egress to a facility do to reduce the spread of a contagious disease? It seems 100% counterintuitive to me. Open all the doors and you have less traffic jams and less people bumping into each other with their dirty, germ infested selves.

I've wondered this too and I THINK it's because it is easier to police people wearing masks I guess? That's the only thing I could think of because making everyone go in and out of one entrance/exit as you mentioned is contradictory.

Why not make everyone go in one way and out the other? It really confuses the hell out of me. And really pissed me off that in the beginning, I'd park on the right side of the grocery store, only to walk to the door and see that the LEFT side was the entrance side. :rant:

Some places do that. I know one place near us back in PA had one of those lobbies that had entrances on either side and the one door I think they just straight closed because it had an awkward entrance with respect to traffic and they didn't want to funnel everyone through that way? A lot of shit just didn't/still doesn't make sense.

Kinda sounds like you guys live in retarded places run by retarded people. We just made our custodians clean more often and bought them these cool Ghostbuster packs that kill everything.... maybe even small children?
 
For the peeps who've had Covid or know anyone who did, did it change your taste at all? I haven't lost taste (or smell) but I definitely feel like things are a little more sour than usual

Or maybe it has something to do with the profanities that snuck out of my mouth during my last call.

I don't know if it's covid-related, but sometimes stuff just tastes...off. And it's not spoiled or anything. Just different. When I used to drink bourbon drinks, it tasted kind of like a band-aid. I got the same taste the other day when drinking apple juice. BUT I had a caramel apple bourbon cocktail a couple weeks ago and it was fine... no band-aid taste at all.

EDIT to add: So basically, I don't know WTF.

I never lost my taste/smell, but I've known a couple people who did, and it can vary. Most of them it was very temporary, but at least one friend of ours lost it for nearly a year, and then when it started coming back, it was all weird, she said. I.e., healthy foods tasted like garbage, and junk food tasted like healthy food
