We used to have some friends who believe that vaccinations cause autism, because their son was autistic...but they didn't diagnose him until after he had already received several shots. Nothing will ever convince them that they are wrong. People have told them about how those studies were debunked, or pointed out how his behavioral issues just may not have been noticeable until he was older, etc.

He's graduated HS now and is a pretty good kid, AFAWK, don't see them as often anymore. They kinda pulled away from a lot of their friends who challenged them.

Goddamn show is a pretty good mindfuck. One of the better series' I've watched in a while.


Only bad part is it's in German, so ya gotta read, but it's worth it.

Nebraska had a test of their Emergency alert system go off a little over 20 minutes ago. Nothing like doing that after 11pm on a week night.

We had an accidental one last year (?). Turned out it was due to a computer *glitch* in the NWS system.
