Hey y’all this cabin is about done (outside) and I want to do something for these guys and it just so happens to be Christmas. But looking at a portable saw mill that cuts up to 26”- 30” logs. Anyone know anything about these?

This mason dude can already get stone in mtns and now this would be the ultimate “have all the tools” to build anything and for much cheaper than the norm. With all the trees we have between us in Arkansas seems to be a good investment.

basically they helped me with this cabin and I want to help them build their own house. Or 2 or 3 or rentals N stuff

26” logs are pretty flipping big

@Peter Gozintite

@outofyourmind you have a non douchebag list? ;)
I know nothing about these, and have never seen one in use. If I was in the woods, and wanted to build a lod cabin, I might consider it though. Interesting equipment, and if you had the trees, you could save a ton of money on lumber.

I know you still want to let the lumber dry out before you use it.

Sorry, no list.

But that thing looks badass.
I have seen those on some shows where they needed it cut on sight, and they seem to work great.

I don't even want to know how much they cost.

I have an LX55 twin Wood Mizer. My pops, brother and I have built 3 “tiny homes” and this was the most important tool on worksite.

Yeah my guy up there mentioned the wood mizer. I’ll check it out

Do you mean Doll&Bird houses? If so, :director:Permission requested for the inspection and build of furniture and accessories.

26” diameter makes nice 20”ers

These guys were wanting to get the Mack daddy that cuts 30” logs. So you think that’s overkill? I was thinking the 26ers

My Dad mentioned a few times we should have gone bigger. But he does that alot when I'm on the hook for the bill.
The 26" worked fine for us and the bigger models are the price of a cheap car.
