GAME Valero Alamo Bowl Dec 29 8:15 ESPN

They know an ass whooping is coming. Can't blame them for not wanting to be on the sideline for it.

Only question left is do they Chip Kelly and entirely puss out, or just use the excuse of being short on players to explain the beat down?

Both sides are indifferent about this one. Interim coaches, opt outs, etc. I’m glad we avoided the humiliation of missing a bowl game. You have to be straight garbage for that to happen with all the bowl games nowadays. But it’s hard to really care about who wins this one

The Ducks were at best meh even with their full roster. Their offense just isn't top shelf right now. Their run blocking is inconsistent and their QB is just bad at times.

Brown is like Adrian Martinez but a better runner. At least more apt to take of running.

If the Sooners can contain him and make him beat them with his arm, they got this.

Same here. We don’t really care who is on the other sideline...the hate fuck is coming. Gotta exercise some demons and frustration.

Seems like OU will have the motivation advantage. That’s huge in exhibition games

He can run and he can hit his down field, but he rattles easily at times, tries to force things at others, and just makes bad decisions too often to be considered a great QB.

He overthrows a lot like Martinez does.

Everything else you said is basically Adrian Martinez. However, Brown is more apt to take off running if nothing's there.

Drumm on Caleb Williams

"Not saying Cw is leaving. Talked with dad and mom last night for a long time. Nothing has been decided. Not hearing to Norman now, though, afterward. Back to DC and then vacation to decide on portal or not. Outside if that, still a waiting game and focus squarely on Alamo Bowl and being with teammates right now."

Drumm is now saying that BV and Lebby will have a shot to convince him to stay after the bowl games. They are doing a presentation lol

it will be interesting to see what a Moorehead offense looks like without Cristobal who we know preferred a run heavy game.

Give credit to where credit is due. Both of these teams clearly value football and are going to play. No opting out of this one even with all the player opt out and coaches departing on both sides. Both of these teams and players are playing for pride in their school and for their school. This will be an exciting game because of that.

Oregon is going to be more prepared though and has more talent especially on the defensive end of things.

I doubt the lame duck coaching staff changes much up. Good experience for the players though

Kiss of death.

Game 100% canceled now.

No way this gets canceled. Both coaches have done their pre-bowl press conferences, players have spoken, not a peep about any outbreak. Both teams want to play. This is happening

Oregon is too fast for COVID

so the ball is 100% in Oklahoma's court

I just think if Oklahoma was going to use the COVID excuse to avoid playing due to players opting out and no coaches they would have used it already. Doubt they wait hours until kickoff to pull out

Anyone staying will be applying for a position in next year's version of OU Football in this game...and with the uptick in expected defensive recruiting under Venables we should see some try-hards out there with something to prove. Losing Winfrey and Bonitto is gonna hurt...I'd run the ball a lot if I were yall?

I would hope the Oregon players staying were similarly motivated. Iron sharpens iron.
