Been in the high 40s here in coastal New England the past few days. February is when it REALLY starts getting COLD here. Then the HEAVY gear comes out! :nod:

I remember snowflakes coming down in Newport Beach, CA a couple of times back in the 80s. It was about 30*. Nothing sticked, of course, but it was weird holding your hand out and watching the snowflakes hitting it on the beach (pre-sanded, of course - heh heh). I think it lasted all of about 10 minutes.

My nephew, that is 25 now, still talks about the time it snowed here, and stuck about 4 to 6 inches deep, and I took him out doing donuts in my truck. That was about 15 years ago
 
I’m still kinda fucked up. Was headed to Dallas New Year’s Eve and saw someone dead in the middle of the road that just just hit by a car doing 70. Fuckkkk

We get snow once in a blue moon here. Most of the time, when it is cold enough to snow, there isnt a cloud in the sky.

@moxie...just booked a trip to DisneyWORLD for 8 days!

It'll be the first week long vacation we've taken together in 20 some odd years, and first ever as a family.

It is nearly impossible for both of us to go on such a trip, as it's basically just us running our biz. Fuck it tho. We got a faker that can fake shit for a week...we going.

I'm actually kinda excited. We haven't flown as a family anywhere since Mr. Bungle, back at the onset of this current shitdemic.

Holy fuck, I've ate well thru these holidays.

Just surf and turfed it, with a prime ribeye steak, and a Dungeness crab, roasted brussels and butternut squash in a syrup marinade with pecans and dried cranberries, mashed potatoes, with the thyme and garlic browned butter used on the steak.

Going to Disney World after Thanksgiving with my family- parents, brother and wife and their 4 kids. Will be 1st time for my nieces and nephews
