Happy Fresh Prince GIF by Nick At Nite

I had a squire Tele back in the day. Made in South Korea.
I had read that the Korean made ones were decent, just not as good as the ones made in the US or Mexico. Then they moved to china, and then Indonesia. Guess they'll be in some poorer country next.

The sound on this thing is legit, it's got those classic Strat tones. But the action is kinda high, need to do some saddle adjustments

All I remember about that Tele is that I had to tighten up every single nut and bolt as they were likely assembled in under 11 minutes. The tone was and action were pretty much comparable to a garden variety Tele at the time.

Din't even know you played? What impelled you?
Basically Covid boredom.

I've been a dabbler for years. I have a bass (been playing that since about 18-19 years old), but it's hard to have much fun with that all by myself. I also have a 12-string accoustic but that thing is so hard to play and to keep in tune. I've always wanted an electric, and this one was a good deal.
