slow work morning so I am shopping for electric push mowers
 
Apparently it's icy outside. Got a little bit of rain on cold surfaces here. Looks like it will warm up enough shortly to let nature take care of it on its own.

was going to run to the dump last night but once the sun went down, I decided it could wait until today to avoid any possible black ice.

got the downed tree all chopped up and piled. Going to wait until the branches are heavy as fuck with snow before I start dragging them into the woods. One of the limbs on my cherry blossom tree cracked with the cypress landing on it, so going to have to saw that off too.

the three smaller bushes it fell on look to be alright...so that's at least a relief.

I've been adding folding chairs to the table that we bought right after Christmas. The problem with counter height tables is that the regular metal folding chairs obviously don't work. Found ones on Amazon that do work. We got 6 chairs with the set, and we want to have 10 seats just in case we have my sister's family and other company over. Bought 2 chairs in "used like new" condition so far, saves almost $30 off the $72 retail. Been keeping an eye on Amazon's site for more chances to snipe a couple more of them.

Also, after this weekend, I think we're going to look into getting some sort of real small counter height table for the bar area in the basement, so we can put the two chairs that we aren't using at the table to use. Don't really have a good spot to store them right now, they'd just sit stacked up somewhere in the bar area anyway.

Cherry wood is good smoking wood. Don't throw that stuff out if you have a smoker or have friends that have a smoker.

another cold (for Vegas) day today. No ice but it’s been pretty cold here lately.
