you know what i don't miss.... the damn cops telling you that you should clean off your whole car before moving it. the best part is the cloud of snow that trails as you drive off.

also I was stupid once and shoveled my hood. whoops.

To be fair, we'd gotten about 3-4" of snow and just a smattering of freezing drizzle on top of that (which I think helped hold it together in a sheet). That shet went 15 feet in the air before coming down too.

It's pretty much over here now... No sun peeking thru yet, but still windy here too. Looks like we got only about 2"-3" max. Two miles up the road, Middletown, got about double that. Weird, the difference of snowfall only 2 miles apart.

But Newport is surrounded by water on 3 sides... Newport Harbor, Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. A pretty good weather moderator (for the most part)! :nod:
 
Yeah, when snow freezes on your car's roof it can be dangerous when it flies off
