Hallelujah! Vikings can Spielman and Zimmer

The Saints are rumored to have an interest in Cousins.
haha, not sure how the Saint could afford him. You know there will be no discounts from Captain "YOU LIKE THAT???" and Saints already have enough tied up in cap costs.

The Saints are desperate for a QB.

Cousins is a cancer. Best to get rid of him, see what Mond can do, and look for a replacement if Kellen can't get it done. I didn't like Mond in college because he became too much of a pocket passer. But he can run an NFL style offense and won't be the piece of shit "me first, second, third, and fuck everyone else" asswipe that Cousins is.
i'm not a Cousins fan, but he gets far too much blame.

I'm ready to move on, don't get me wrong. KC will never win a SB, pending a completely stacked team that carries him to one which is hard to do in this era especially when you pay KC the money he's being paid

My opinion of Cousins dates back to his Skins days as well. He's far too easily butthurt over "disrespect by not offering enough money soon enough". His comments lately about not willing to take a pay cut or restructure to help the team is just more proof he doesn't give a shit about winning, just wants his money.

You are right. There are lots of other players with his mindset.

Cousins has two top receivers to throw to plus an all-pro running back. Cousins deserves much of the blame.

Guys on rookie deals wanting to get paid I understand. But once you have made over $100M, maybe look to win instead of getting as much cash as possible.

Money is often times a deciding factor.

i get that, I'm not going to break my back defending the guy. I don't care much for him, just saying he gets too much blame for viking ailments

Yeah I get that. But Vikes have paid him $115M over 4 years and he has delivered jack-shit for that money. He should be more than willing to restructure, but since he isn't I'd cut him and let him go back someone up. No one else is going to pay him as a QB1. Well, maybe Carolina

he's also hampered by an awful o line and a lousy OC that got the job through nepotism.

I think that you and other fans are looking at the wrong side of the ball. The offense is Ok to good, but the defense stinks.

The offense should've been better, it wasn't top 10 in scoring despite the talent

and yes, defense stinks. That'll happen when your core defensive players get older and you can't invest as much money into defense because you have to pay KC.

Vikings have really struggled to replace Rhodes as a shut down corner. His play dropped off dramatically after their run and jettisoned him and no #1. Interior DL is weakpoint and Hunter can't stay healthy all of the sudden

Their O line wasn't that bad.
it's bottom half in the league. Our tackles are fine but interior is pretty woeful

Not sure if your OL scouting is any better than your QB scouting though as you thought someone would trade a high pick for Hundley and make him a starter

The Packers had the best record in the NFC with two backup tackles, a backup center and a rookie guard.

I think his salary next season is fully guaranteed. No way the Vikings take a $45 million cap hit when they're already over the cap. They're going to have to extend him (lulz) if they're going to get any cap relief from Captain Kirk.

That can happen when you have Aaron Rodgers. Had he gotten hurt, they'd have been lucky to win 8 games

I think you roll with KC one, maybe 2 more years and move on

it'll be interesting what the new GM does. Can't do worse than Rick at QB...well, I suppose

I really need to look into the perception that the Packers are all Rodgers. Is any QB worth 5 games? IDK
