NFL WEEKLY GAME THREAD NFL Playoffs: Wild Card Weekend

I’ll never understand why coaches love running ball on 2nd and goal from outside the 5. The odds of scoring are low and your giving your offense 1 play to score a touchdown
could get closer to the goal and it's 4 down territory for some coaches.

Which they shouldnt have. So the result of the play was justified.

Definitely shouldn't have but by rule the play should have been replayed

yeah, it happened essentially when the ball was a foot away from being caught, so probably good they let it stand.

the one i'm up in the air about is the Chase no-call. Think it looked worse than it was, as that CB was not even thinking about coming back on that route.

Raider ain't lookin great, but only one score down.

Not a good stat: Bengals lead at the half in 6 of their 7 playoff losses

Vegas doesn't have notorious Bengals playoff killer TJ Yates and can't count on a Burfict meltdown. Maybe this finally happens for Cincy.

Yep. I think wouldve been bad call to replay it with ball so close to receiver. I dont think whistle affected the way play turned out.

the refs having these multiple minute long powwows is not a good look. granted, the refs have been shit most of the year, so not surprised.

The Jerome Boger crew is a disaster.

this is the first year the NFL embraced gambling is a big backer for it and the refs have been worse than that brief period a few years back when they had the scabs in.

The scabs were 10 times worse in my opinion.
