Let's take a moment to laugh at Matt LaFleur

Actually, I thought their defense was the only bright spot for the entire game. Giving up only 6 points should have been enough to win the game.
Agreed. Their defense was legit all night. Their inability to get the offense clicking and abysmal special teams play turned a W into an L.

Matt should join the other Matts and be Friends.

Nice 2nd half adjustments LaFleur.

What in the living hell.
Looking at the game stats/log this morning reminded me that the Packers marched down for a TD on their first drive and then managed 3 points in the remaining 54 minutes. I know that San Fran has a pretty good defense, but...................................

The game plan stayed the same for the entire game. Run between the tackles and throw check downs to Adams.

No end arounds, no jet sweeps, minimal motion, etc. LaFleur was touted as some offensive genius. Fuck that.

Strangely enough it didn't really seem like the weather was much of an advantage for Green Bay either. I was a bit surprised that the 9ers handled it so well.

It almost appeared that LaFleur wanted to beat his mentor at his own game - power rushing attack and a swarming D. The defense held up it's end of the bargain and the Packers have shown flashes of a power running game this season but with Dillon injured on the sidelines, that option was off the table.

Yet, he still decided to think it was best to rush in between the tackles.

For fuck's sake.

He did his job. The D did their job. ST teams didn't do theirs. But, party on, dude. You deserve it.

But they also play way too slowly given what they have. They refuse to get into a shooting match with anyone. It leaves them vulnerable to these kinds of losses to "worse" teams. If you have one of the most efficient offenses in the league, you need to think about the value of giving them as many possessions as possible.

This is soooo fucking lame.

M.V.P. 10 points.

GTFO

Rodgers owns the Bears, but so far, he is a paper champion. 1 ring?

Rex Grossman and Rodgers have the same amount of NFC Championship wins. :spit:

In those conditions, offense is not what wins games, but it can lose them. I find no real fault with the O. No points for the 9ers off turnovers. The D gave up all of 6 points. The difference was the special teams. Granted, Rodgers did not play MVP level, but he did not cause the loss.

Niners own Rodgers.

He'll go down as the all-time paper champion, and as a Bears fan, you can eat that dick. lulz
