Sad to say, but I feel being in your own teams HOF/Ring of Honor feels more significant to me.

Eh

Baseball hall of fame is still the most prestigious of sports imo. It's just dumb as hell to me to try and pick and choose who gets in based on supposition.

Either you ban them all or base it on results as we always have.

Like I said my one exception would be guys like a Sosa that weren't particularly great hitters and then all the sudden showed these enormous gains seemingly overnight.

Bonds, Clemens, A Rod, Manny were all elite level players.

Sat in on the district-wide presidents' meeting for the local Little Leagues yesterday. Boring AF. Buncha drama around whether or not all the teams in the district are going to use the same umpires association when needed (think it really only "matters" for the tournaments).
 
Any HOF whose inductions rely on the votes of sports writers means nothing. Look at TO. Look at the Rodgers situation.

Don’t wait for power hungry nerds to tell who is a HOF or not.

The whole voting thing is dumb in baseball. It's a dying sport to say the least.

I have not had those burgers yet... I have both the jack un-fried and fajita in my fridge as well. Last night I had the Beef and Cheese Tostadas.

Later this week (since bowling cuts into cooking, so no time tonight) - Honey Thyme Pork Tenderloin, Balsamic Tomato and Herb Chicken, then Sweet Chili Pork Bowl

The whole narrative is boring to me. Put whoever you want in the HOF. It's your Hall. Don't expect me to agree.

The tiny meatloafs w Thyme sauce will knock your socks off.

Looking forward to those Beef and Cheese Tostadas. Haven’t gotten those yet. 😋
 
@RobBase (c) they screwed up the picture somewhat on the Meatloaf with creamy Thyme Sauce... it is mashed potatoes with green beans and they put no green beans on picture and put in brussels sprouts instead

Interesting. I guess I didn’t notice since the wife usually does the cooking. You have anything w the baked carrots yet? They end up tasting like sweet potatoes. So good.
