Tom Herman could take job and then force the B1G to make using the acronym TTUN a taunting penalty.

My top two choices -- Mike Hart and Josh Gattis.

Keep the staff in place, keep most of the players in place, and give a young up and coming coach a shot (in both cases). I still have a little PTSD from Lloyd leaving, us hiring Rich Rod and then the whole culture imploding on itself. Which is Michigan's problem; we aren't able to have searches like everyone else. 75% of our
coaching staff has Michigan ties. Hart I think would be more of a risk because he's still pretty young for a head coach and hasn't ever been an OC or DC.

Making a guy who has been pretty much nothing but a position coach for a decade, head coach, seems like a terrible idea

But but but…. Michigan Man

And please, for the love of god, make the guy responsible for “Little Brother” Michigan’s head coach. That shit would be played on repeat all year long.

The most elite college and NFL coach to ever exist. Right @Wamu?

Well of course. But only if you're willing to ignore JH's total record vs. all ranked teams. His true record vs. his bitter rival (5-1). And his bowl record (1-5 at UofM & 2-6 total).

But you already ignore those numbers I mentioned. He was supposed to return to UofM and restore the glory from day one. And seven years later he's failed. He's the most overhyped CFB coach of all time.

Maybe. But he's done pretty awesome things with the position he's been in charge of at every stop.
