I am back in the office for night 7 of this night shift rotation. Not planning on taking a night off, might as well just rake in all that OT and stick to the routine.

they have identified a couple issues with our steam generator that they need to address as well as some inspections due to finding boric acid residue on some components...that it is threatening to lengthen the time before we can start up again.

none of this is part of my job, so I am just assisting where I can while I monitor my testing and maintenance activities.

well, that doesn't seem very helpful. after talking to this cat i figured i'd pay him to take care of the leaves to ease my burden. that hasn't been the case and my workload is piling up and finding solutions to lessen it are hard to come by. that said, i hope you guys are having a funny, fruitful spat.

the people report these issues to you, you don't have to ask? sounds like a dream.

that said, i truly am working on some boring shit that's just a box check, but my main POC to figure it out.... so fucking frustrating.

i think we would have both liked that reference, while he would have meowed on back home because he had to do something.

I'm not sure they report to me as much as they report them to management and I happen to become the owner of said issues.
