NEWS FLASH: The Job is too Big for Lincoln Riley

He also had plenty of time in the pocket. If OU plays teams with SEC caliber D-Lines he will get quashed.

Texas is the same deal. TT had zero pass rush in the 4th qtr to the point I couldn't believe this was a conference game.
ahhh yes like the vaunted DL of Arkansas who gave GA problems.. or maybe the vaunted DL of MSU who hurt the back to back champions campaign by LSU? Or maybe the vaunted DLs of both aggy and Vandy last night that you speak of? hmm wonder what a QB like Bowman would have done for a school like Vandy last night? or maybe for a kentucky? or maybe for an Arkansas.. But yeah the DL in the SEC would cripple any OLs, anywhere..

**Damn it, Bama is the SEC, how dare you say they couldn't cripple all the Big 12 OLs, cause when you take a shot against us, the SEC, you are talking about BAMA!!**

you got give the kid some time. Actually you should be pissed at Riley and the OL. Why are asking your freshman QB to throw it 40+ times vs KSU? OL was dominated in the second half. Riley went pass happy, which is a tendency of his
I don't think he has any RB depth and has to throw. I mean you can't put the game on the shoulders of a 3rd string back and let him carry the rock 40 times at 2 1/2 yard clips. I've seen this nightmare at Auburn several times where you start looking at anyone of the team that might be able to run the ball. It sucks and nearly impossible to overcome.

The last Oklahoma Coach to drop 2 in a row to Kansas State was John Blake.

Let that sink in a minute.
Chris Klieman is a great coach. He won't be at KSU long. He has flat out whooped Riley, twice now. This wasn't a talent issue. We were out coached.

Did you see how much time Texas' QB had in the pocket and devoid of any kind of rush there was? There was zero pressure and that's a theme I've seen in both Texas and Oklahoma games. You can pretend that doesn't exist but it does.

Everything else you said was blah, blah, blah bullshit.

I don't have to talk about Bama because there are two teams in the country keeping them in check and that's Auburn and Clemson. You should wake up every morning giving thanks for us. If Texas played Alabama every year you would be 0-10 the last decade so STFU.

I don't think he was out coached.. he called the stuff that would work.. The OL just didn't block and Rattler froze up (which most young QBs do...except for Bo nix of course, LOL).

I looked as it as Lincoln giving Rattler the ball to snuff the KSU comeback, then for him to lead the team for the comeback win. He did that with Baker, Murray and Hurts over the season.. Rattler just didn't respond the same way.

LOL Auburn keeping them in check??!?!?! oh little brother you... Maybe Bama's can start dropping bodies and you too can keep them in check.. and you comparing yourself to Clemson?!?!? AHAHAHAHAHAHA... your DL line wouldn't do shit to ou or Texas either.. u know why? Cause Bama isn't sending it's tiny dicked brother some help.. LOL

Look, I fucking hate Auburn, but you're coming off sounding pretty retarded and ignorant right now.

Nobody has beaten Bama more since Saban has been there than Auburn, it's true.

Take a look at Malzah's record vs Saban and get back to me with more of your bullshit.

That was a really bad loss yesterday.

In fact, Auburn has had an easier time with Bama than they have with UGA since Saban came to Bama.

Malzahn may get made fun of a lot, but him going 3-4 against Bama is pretty impressive, and what makes it so good is that he beats Bama often enough to keep his job.

Twice in Malzahn’s tenure. More than any team not named Bama in that time

4 turnovers and Moops' defensive backfield returned in the 2nd half.

I don't give a fuck who is playing who....that right there is a good way to lose a football game, especially when the overwhelming majority of your players on the field are R-So. and younger.

You misspelled Tom Herman

Just imagine if OU had been able to play Tennessee and Army too. We could be 1-2 right now. We have not beaten a team with a pulse since Pearl Harbor Day in 2019.

LR has done pretty well in his first few years. He has been 12-2 in his first 3 seasons, each one with a different QB1. He has had issues winning the big one, but that has been an issue at OU going back 20 years. LR has won the B12 all 3 of his years(OU has 5 in a row). We have frosh(redshirt) QB1, RB2(although he has more touches than RB1), WR(Mims), with Wease, Stogner, Stoops, etc all sophomores. Our O line isn't that experienced(most are 2nd year). Rattler was shaken....had his first real game exposure. Needs to learn to trust his protection, who in turn need to step it up. Our D did okay early, but totally derped it in the 2nd half. Blown assignments. Missed tackles. Poor game plan. Poor execution. I'm surprised at Grinch's failure at this level. Showed progress last season. Sure we lost K9, Gallimore and a few others. Perkins out hurts. But no excuse. We sucked on D. The NFL thinks LR is one of the best, so not going to bail on him yet.

Both defense were out there for 90 minutes, not to mention Tech was dropping 8 in coverage on a lot of plays.not saying Tech has great DL, but much of it was schematic

We lost RB1(Brooks)to opt out. We lost RB2(Sermon)to tOSU. We lost RB3(Stevenson)for 6 games to weed partaking. So, our RB1 is last seasons RB4(Pledger)who missed game 1 this year. RB(McGowan) is a true frosh, and although he's looked promising, he is inexperienced. Long story short, is a reloading year at OU and the young guns are going to need some experience. I don't see OU as B12 champs this season and definitely not a CFP participant. A season or two and we'll be back to OU level.

My pt is simple. Rattler three 41 passes (had 8 rushes, but those were mostly pass plays) and the RBs had 26 carries for 111 yards. OU has been an offensive juggernaut, because they ran the ball well under Riley. It made play action deadly. I know the talent on KSU suggests airing it out, but with a freshman QB and inexperience at WR Riley is going to need to attempt to at least have a balanced attack. Not to mention the OTs look vulnerable in pass pro.

OU has more success when it runs, true dat. Hopefully we figure this out again. We don't have the luxury of a Jalen Hurts/Sam Ehlinger/Kyler Murray dual threat QB this year, so have to rely on RB/HB's. Even though it's technically a short season, going to feel long for OU fans.
