ya know that same debate has been brought up here, and while the funds have been available the weather is a factor for NOT building a dometOSU should stop being poor and build and indoor stadium, then.
The weather didn't have anything to do with the game this year with OSU. If it were really snowing, where it is sticking to the field and effecting the footing -- then yeah -- it hurts a team who wants to throw the ball. This year wasn't much at all. This makes sense. One of the changes that they discussed for the first round games that are supposed to be on campus was to allow them to be played in regional, indoor stadiums. Evidently, it costs a lot of winterize stadiums.
That leads us to the whole, is the cold weather really an advantage argument. The tOSU v. UM game this year seems to indicate it is. I think that without that blizzard, we may have been handing tOSU their asses in the Orange Bowl, instead of UM.
I am a fan of indoor stadiums. I just don't get the idea that we should want weather to make a difference in games of this magnitude. Whether it's the cold or the stifling heat and humidity of the south, I prefer to see two teams at the top of their games playing each other without the weather interference.
Does it really surprise you?I find it very hypocritical that a Michigan fan is making fun of OSU for blaming the weather for a loss when Michigan does the same shit.
That ain't football. More like indoor soccer. Not my bag. This makes sense. One of the changes that they discussed for the first round games that are supposed to be on campus was to allow them to be played in regional, indoor stadiums. Evidently, it costs a lot of winterize stadiums.

I’ve said for for years, retractable roof for any serious football program. Modern people don’t like sitting in rain/snow/wind ect. Screw that , and God knows the money is there.tOSU should stop being poor and build and indoor stadium, then.
Modern people? Michigan has no problem filling 100,000+ seats for their game. Green Bay has like a 10 year waiting list to get tickets. Notre Dame sells out every game.I’ve said for for years, retractable roof for any serious football program. Modern people don’t like sitting in rain/snow/wind ect. Yes modern people. People in those areas have no other life/options and are miserable due to sitting in terrible weather. They will be much healthier mentally after the stadiums have a removable cover keeping them out of bad weather AS WELL as finally giving them a shot at having some team speed as good southeastern US/ Cali players may actually give them the time of day rather than stay out of snow/ice when they play.Modern people? Dantonio controlling the trash filled gusts of wind is an entirely different thing.I find it very hypocritical that a Michigan fan is making fun of OSU for blaming the weather for a loss when Michigan does the same shit.
