Brian Flores Is In Full Meltdown Mode

Smith would be a solid hire, way better than Culley who actually did a pretty decent job IMO.

Can people on both sides of this argument just take a step back and look at the complete hypocrisy of the mega billion dollar empire that is the NFL? For two years they've put in messaging about equality and ending racism, as if just saying these things and branding their product with it is enough. Yet here the NFL is with just one black head coach.

Somehow guys like Leftwich, Bieniemy still remain without a head coaching job. Flores who did a remarkable job turning things around in season is fired?

This in itself is a major issue and IMO encompasses all of society. These big businesses and millionaires talk the talk, and brand themselves as such, but when it comes down to doing something, they don't do jack shit.

Similar to the celebrities who openly talk about homelessness and helping out communities, but you don't see them donate a paycheck to their local shelter. Maybe you see them amongst those in need while they are filming a commercial promoting their vision and wanting you to donate money to their cause or to make you aware, but what actual change do they do?

Just take a moment to see the hypocrisy that the NFL is doing. Equality yet here they are firing a winning record coach who was placed with a rebuilding franchise, and now only has one black coach in the league.
Flores did not do a remarkable job of turning anything around. WTF is wrong with you?

Why would he be better than Culley?

He’s had a winning record once in the last nine seasons as a HC.

Part of me does kinda feel for Bienemy in the sense that he's gonna have so much pressure to succeed with everyone making him the poster boy for black assistants who can't get a head coaching gig (and I don't think he's said anything about it either he just interviews when asked).

At first I definitely thought him not getting a job was off, but now thinking there's gotta be something else going on. But everyone acts like he's the next big thing and if he flops that talks gonna backfire.

i really don't think it is as bizarre as people try to make it out to be.

He doesn't call plays + has a pretty bad legal history. That is the easiest possible explanation as to why teams aren't hiring Bieniemy.

Oh at this point I agree. You don't go this long without a job because everyone is being big meanie racist heads. But good luck convincing the mob that.

Legal history?

He had a case that involved a woman in 1993? Do you remember what you did back in 93? I for one can honestly say I was shit faced drunk banging everything in sight including DJ's mom!

I understand that it was a crime against a woman, but geez Trump was elected Pres, Mike Irvin is on the damn league network and Big Ben just retired with honors!

I’ve heard former players talk about how he is an old school hard ass. And more of a motivator than X’s and O’s guy.

Probably in the perfect place with Andy Reid. And if true I get why nobody has hired him away.

"Congratulations on finally making it to the Super Bowl. Your fans have been through a lot. They deserve it."

"Bill, we're the Houston Texans. We didn't make the Super Bowl."

"I thought I was texting the Cincinnati Bengals. My bad. BB"

Hoping this lawsuit doesn't serve as a distraction but if it doesn't this is an excellent addition from a football standpoint.
