If you could go back in time and see one band in their prime live, who would it be?

Wow! I would love to try wild game in a souvlaki marinade. Cubes of venison would be great! I think.

If it isn't factory raised and bludgeoned to death I won't eat it.

UFO with Michael Schenker 1978 . The Strangers In The Night Tour. Best live album ever.....i.e. best album ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suspect that if I could have dropped in to Woodstock a la Bill and Ted most excellently, that I might have enjoyed that immensely in a most bodacious way.

That would have been a motherfucker. Especially if you could phone booth yourself out and back and avoid the muck and overall uncomfortableness of shit weather and such.

But to see who you could have? All in one fell swoop! Without the discomfort? Beam in, beam out? I'd be in.

I was lucky enough to catch all of the Lollapalooza's from 1992 to 1996 in either Atlanta or New Orleans or sometimes both venues. Lots of 90's bands too many to type. Good times, stoned as a goat while I was thar,

Several of the artists, including Green Day and Cypress Hill, skipped at least one Lollapalooza date to appear at Woodstock '94 instead. Green Day was removed from stage at the performance at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC, for encouraging general admission audience members to rush the stage and overwhelm the reserved seating area. Nirvana was scheduled to headline but officially pulled out on April 4, 1994, amid rumors that the band was on the verge of breaking up. Frontman Kurt Cobain was found dead in Seattle, Washington four days later on April 8, 1994. Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, made surprise guest appearances at several shows, speaking to the crowds about the loss.

Don't take the brown acid

Guns 'n Roses. When Axle wasn't being a prima donna cocksucker, of course.

That'd be amazing, especially if it was in some honky tonk in El Paso or somewhere.
El Paso civic center was where us fly boys at Holloman AFB went to catch the national acts. Saw AC/DC, Molly Hatchet, and a few other pretty good concerts there.
