Good morning, day walkers

Damnit!

Still had time to fix it!

Also, "punchline?"
You will have to forgive @moxie she is the type of person to bust out laughing at a funeral. So it should be no surprise that she finds maxims of wisdom just totally fucking funny

For lack of a better term? :noidea:

What IS the right word? Kicker? I bet there’s a very lovely & eloquent grammatical term but I have somewhere to be in three minutes. I’m just here to point & laugh.
:bolt:
Moral of the story?
The point?
life lesson?

You know that Roget's Thesaurus I got you for Christmas wasn't just a coloring book

They had possessions during the entire game. Just extended the game, not start a new one.
Each team getting an OT possession isn't starting a new game - a new game would be four more quarters.

and that's ownerships problem if both teams suck on defense... Doesn't mean they should get "rewarded" for it
How is each team getting a fair opportunity being "rewarded?"

"Rewarded" would be getting handed the only OT possession based on a coin flip.

It is not even the same game. "You guys couldn't determine a winner in 4 qtrs, so let's start a different game"
Right. That's why I said they should keep playing by regular rules until one team wins.

The coin flip stuff is dumb, particularly for the playoffs.

boo hoo hoo... Someone has to lose... Leave OT rules alone

Boo hoo?

No shit someone has to lose. I'm just for them losing a football game, not a coin flip. Play the game.

I have said that as well..

but it most likely won't change so we just suck it up and play...

Again. Play better defense... You still have just as much of a chance to prevent a team from scoring in OT as you did in regular time, no?

Yes yes it does suck to lose in OT if they first team scores first but that's life... Defenses job is to prevent a score.. You can't do that then well that's on the D....

Though these "suggestions/arguments" do make sense...

.

hmm... Can not longer quote "bleacher report" articles?

It’s basically on whoever calls the coin flip. If Buffalo had won the toss against KC in the playoffs, they’d have won that game. Both defenses were gassed so whoever won the toss was going to win. That’s kind of a shitty way to end a great game.

I get that and I can see why it should be tweaked for play off games but still as BB says, "DO YOUR JOB!"

In my career, I've had to make so many uncomfortable calls/meetings, I don't even like thinking about it.

I give you this advice: do it. Don't wait. 99% of the time, the anticipation of the exchange is far worse than the actual exchange.

The only way out is through.
Yeah spoke with the guy. They wouldn’t go any higher. Basically tried to convince that I would learn more at the new place.

So I’m staying at my current job. So in the end I got a raise out of it and I get to stay at a place I like.
