Double-edged sword. If the teacher had forcibly restrained the kid & removed him from class, there would be a push to have her fired for being racist and/or insensitive to students who are mentally ill. Those injuries probably saved her career.
If it was California, Oregon or Washington St., the school would probably be sued for causing the kid emotional distress and excessive shame.
