Dallas retools offense again. Does Mike McCarthy still call his own plays?

Odell's already gone I thought.
All signs point to him staying with the Rams.

May not play next season, but they’ll be paying him. Looks that way anyway.

Major injury, 1 year contract, I doubt anyone's in a rush to sign the guy. I'm glad he got his SB win, but football is a business.

Yeah, if the Rams can lock him up for the vet minimum, then sure. But I doubt he'd want that.

I doubt they’d sign him to a one year deal. And there’s no way he’s looking at a vet minimum deal.

Are you a Browns fan?

How do Cowboys fans feel about this?

@Handicappers @Schmoopy1000
I have been expecting him to not be a Cowboy this coming year for over a year.
he has 3 years on his contract so he is tradable if a team wanted him for their #1 & didnt want the headache of negotiating.
No matter what though he should be gone before 3/20 which is when his 2022 contract becomes fully guaranteed.

So for me this was fully expected, once Lamb came to the team & asserted himself. Apart of the cap dynamics.

Need another receiver though, if there's no Cooper, Wilson or Gallup. 2+ really, since I don't see secondaries cringing in fear over Lamb + Turner + Schultz.

I think gonna be hard to trade him with that $20 million guaranteed for next year and if you do I’m not sure how much you would even get for him

He's been terrorizing the Birds. Hopefully he leaves the division.

well it is all about if they sign him to be a #1.
If he does a new contract will be more than 20 per.
Also on a new contract the 1st year would be all but guaranteed anyways. (maybe longer)
Dont know what signing a #1 Wr will be in the next couple years, but I am pretty sure it will be over 20 per.
Now if a team dont look at him as such. That is a different story. But signing a #1 to a new contract will definitely cost a team more than 60 mil for 3 years. Right now you wouldnt have to deal with any signing bonuses or any of that jazz. Just a straight 20 per year. So the 2022 season guarantee wouldnt mean shit to the new team. Signing a new deal would pay him more.
Just a matter how much other teams like Amari?

That Dak contract is starting to haunt them.

The Cowboys would have a tough time trading Dak because of his huge contract.

Ya nobody else is paying that contract. They’re stuck w him.
