GAME Selection Sunday Thread 6pm ET CBS

Not getting a play in game was the biggest thing imo. 14 losses and avoiding play in is pretty wild.

And they got a great draw. CSU cannot stop Dickinson.

Yea, Michigan may be like +2 in that game

Oregon then went out and won by double digits against the #5 seed and #4 seed. Took the eventual champs down to the wire. It probably wasn't as bad as the media made it out to be

They turned into Syracuse, except with the automatic bid. Not seeing the Orange get a low at-large and then going on a run anyway is something I'll miss this year.

top 10 KENPOM teams that didn't make it:

#30 Oklahoma
#37 Wake Forest
#39 Oklahoma St.
#43 Texas A&M
#44 Utah St.
#45 Miss St.
#50 North Texas
#51 BYU
#54 SMU
#55 Wash St.

ESPN has interrupted their coverage of Selection Sunday to discuss a football player deciding he's going to continue doing just that.

They're a nice team but I think the most overrated team in the tourney.

I think if they get UCLA, UCLA waxes them

I think St. Mary's is legit. Most overrated to me is Providence. I don't see it. I think South Dakota State could easily beat them.

UCLA is tough though. They're better than a lot of teams seeded above them

Kudos on Brady for not weaseling his way to the Niners, lol

They're comparable.

But people have been low on Providence all year.

They've been pumping up St Marys all year. I have UCLA getting thorugh there

I agree. I guess I'm just higher on UCLA and not necessarily low on St. Mary's. But it ends in the same result

Providence got a boost from beating a Davis-less Wisconsin early in the year and did not lose it

They didnt really have the resume, but talent wise, I think UCLA is more like a 2/3.

Arizona is a monster

UCLA is much of a 2/3 seed than a 4. The committee should use their judgement in cases like this IMO. Nobody that watches basketball thinks Wisconsin is better than UCLA. If the committee isn't going to that, we should just let formula determine everything.

Zona is a joy to watch. They're my pick to cut down the nets.

Yea, that's not the way seeding works.

But Vegas works that way.

My Hoop Bracket has Kansas winning it all since they have the easiest road, all that talent, and a real good coach.

That's the way seeding should work IMO. There's no reason to pretend Wisconsin is better than UCLA, especially with UCLA having a better record

Fuck the selection committee. Selection committee must value child molestation over head-to-head wins and better resume.

That's probably the smart pick. Kansas got a great draw. Iowa and Auburn are the only legit threats to beat them before the FF IMO
