I think Baker is a more douchey version of Jimmy Garoppolo. He’s not a great QB, but for the most part, his teams win. As tough as it is to imagine, he’s probably the best QB in the history of this iteration of the Browns (not including the history of the team that is now the Ravens). He will make some jaw-droppingly bad decisions from time to time that will ultimately cost the team. He has a ceiling, so I understand why they may want to make a change, but it’s got to be tough considering how badly every Browns QB not named Baker has performed.

Maybe it'll get interesting and a third team could get involved. Perhaps Detroit would take him, if Cleveland pays a chunk of salary.

Meh. If Detroit only has to pay $6-10 million a year for Mayfield, then he can just be an expensive backup. It's not like they couldn't use the extra help in practice for a year...

Drafted Heisman QB helps a fucking winless team get SOMEWHERE, the team grinds him through how many head coaches and OCs in 4 years?, primadonna shithead WR lays down because he isn't targeted as much as he would like and his contract riders aren't getting hit, QB plays injured the majority of the season, team and fans get upset he didn't play the final game THAT WAS FOR NOTHING so he could start his needed surgery and rehab to be ready ASAP for the '22 season, and now they're gonna ship the QB off.
