Can't spell Iowa Basketball without the word Failure

How long has it been since Iowa's made it past the first weekend? 23 years?

Can't believe I got suckered in again.

Unforunately, you dont just need to go back to bracketology101 but also 2nd grade spelling.

Oh, yeah, Fuck Iowa. I had them in Sweet 16

Edit: Make that Elite 8
Me too, don’t know why I buy into them. They burnt me the past two tournaments, and many in the past. SMH

Iowa is not near as embarrassing as Kentucky and there was some major miss-calls in that game in the last minute as well.

True. Richmond is a lot better program than SPU too

Deacs need to put them back on the schedule. Quality mid-major from a border state. I have always had nothing but love for the Spiders. I like them a lot better than VCU.

also the one time i went to Richmond to watch a Deacs/Richmond game, their fans were nothing but class. I hope they beat the hell out of Providence and shove a bowl of clam chowder down the Friars' fuckin' throats. LETS GO SPIDERS

THE Richmond Spiders doing Gods work by taking the trio of McCaffrey douchebags out of the tournament

Yeah, a lot of Vols fans are gloating about Kentucky losing but I am embarrassed. Not a good look for SEC although it is madness which is fun. UK had the easier bracket of all the SEC contenders as well and should have had the most talent on paper.

It would be like Alabama laying an egg and losing to Cincinnati in the CFB Playoffs.

Plus my grandfather was a HUGE UK fan so if I was cheering for Tennessee, Kentucky would likely be my team.

My 3.5 year old son has Richmond going all the way. These kids I tell ya

But this is why I hate agents talking to these kids. Didn’t see the game but Keegan had a monster big 10 tourney and now this? Too bad. Iowa was the best looking team in the big 10 before this tournament

And I hope every 5 star recruit watched that St. Peter’s Kentucky game. Couldn’t be happier for the Wildcats

Alabama football is Kentucky b-ball?

no. I can’t remember the last time the Wildcats made a final 4 much less won it all.

I’m all for Kentucky getting their ass handed to them and Alabama losing any game to anyone.

I had Iowa going to the Elite 8 in one bracket and Final 4 in another. Don't even care. It's more enjoyable watching them fall on their face.

From an SEC perspective, it is definitely a fair comparison. In fact, Kentucky is more dominant because they have more SEC MBB Conference Championships than Alabama has Football Championships. Kentucky also has 8 National Titles, the last one in 2012.

They have more NCAA Tournament wins over last 10 years than any other program. However, Nationally you are correct. However, no one has dominated MBB (since John Wooden) the way Saban is dominating Football.

Here is an exert from Kentucky's Wikipedia page to show their dominance:

Kentucky leads all schools in total NCAA tournament appearances (59), NCAA tournament wins (131), NCAA Tournament games played (184), NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances (45), NCAA Elite Eight appearances (38), total postseason tournament appearances (68), and are second in regular-season conference championships (53, of which 51 are Southeastern Conference (SEC) regular-season championships). Furthermore, Kentucky has played in 17 NCAA Final Fours (third place all-time behind North Carolina and UCLA), 12 NCAA Championship games (tied for first all-time with UCLA), and has won eight NCAA championships (second only to UCLA's 11). In addition to these titles, Kentucky won the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) in both 1946 and 1976, making it the only school to win multiple NCAA and NIT championships. Kentucky also leads all schools with sixty-three 20-win seasons, sixteen 30-win seasons, and six 35-win seasons.

When is the last Kentucky final 4? Last time they won a national championship?

Bama been doing it lately. Not kentucky.

And who the hell roots for Kentucky and Tennessee?? That’s pretty funny
