Texas tech took Duke the distance in the sweet 16. Texas tech went to a national championship game 3 years ago. That shit isn’t supposed to happen. Just grateful to have witnessed it.

Well that's that. I don't think Gonzaga is ever winning the whole thing. Had two of their best teams back to back in years where there's really no "great" team out there and still couldn't get it done

Arkansas is decent but not great. The NCAA Tournament is a joke when defining how good teams are or crowning a champion. Imagine a Major League Baseball tournament that was one game and done or the Masters if they played 9 holes and we were done.

What makes college basketball so great IS the fear of losing the final game of the season and going home. The CFB Playoff isn't the best two out of three. Or the NFL isn't the best of five. GTFO with your dumbass comparisons. Nothing comes close to the excitement of college basketball. NOTHING.

Both of those teams were great. Both of those teams would win this year.
Arkansas is the perfect example of what the football purists were and are afraid of with expanded playoffs. They loathe the thought of a team being bad at some point in the season, then figuring things out, getting better and steamrolling a playoff run at the right time. Such is heresy to them.
Every game should matter during the regular season in their minds. If you've stumbled or play if a worse league you don't deserve a spot at the table with those that have been at the top all season.
But, it isn't heresy when they desire multiple teams in the playoffs from their own leagues....like Arkie in hoops.
